Awe and Envy

Weirdly enough, somebody at work complimented me on this thermos. I mean, it is heavy duty and it does keep my coffee hot for many hours. But, in the realm of things you never thought you’d get complimented on, “Hey, pretty cool thermos,” ranks close to number one. The fact that said co-worker noticed I had a new thermos was briefly and vaguely disturbing, but you take your compliments where you can in these chaotic and unmoored times. So, good job, Stanley; you designed something that does what it advertises and you made me feel like I own the Ferrari of thermoses - something that inspired awe and a bit of, dare I say it, envy in another. Now I drink coffee like I own the joint.

I like that this is dishwasher safe and unbreakable. However, it doesn't fit in the dishwasher because it is too tall. It doesn't fit in my car drink holder, and it is extremely hard to open, no matter how loosely you put on the cap. It also didn't keep my coffee hot. With this in mind, Stanley, try again, because your other thermoses have been awesome. I'm still a loyal buyer, just not this one.

A THERMOS THAT ACTUALLY WORKS AS DESCRIBED !!!

This thermos is expensive but on the flip side it works.I can fill this up at 2:am head down the road and at 10:00 am I have tongue burning coffee! At 2:00 pm I can still have hot coffee that still will burn your tongue. At 7:00 pm it is still hot but not like at the last time but most of the liquid has been removed by this time. This is truly well worth the money for me and works better than all the other high end named ones that I have tried and returned.I am on the road 12-14 hours as a commercial truck driver.I am now looking forward to trying the Stanley master series food jar so I can enjoy hot homade soup as well.Hope this helps for anyone looking at buying this thermos.

Absolutely love it! Worth every dollar.

I boiled water at night around 7pm and left this thermal bottle outside under snow and heavy wind (Sierras) and the water was still hot around 8am the next day! It is a bit heavy but it is nice to wake up to hot water if you're camping in freezing temperatures. I haven't tried it with cold beverages yet but I can tell it will do just fine!

Heavy, but keeps hot beverages hot.

Hot beverage stayed hot all day even in temperatures to -20 fahrenheit. The hefty weight is the only trade-off. I like the textured coating on the outside, the sturdy construction and the fact you can pour liquids without unscrewing the interior stopper all the way. Designed well and performs great for all applications where weight isn't an issue.

Pleasantly Surprised

The thermos is a bit pricey. However, it is well made and has a lifetime warranty. The outer surface is textured, so it won't easily slip from your hand. The accompanied cup is an actual cup in size (8 oz). An overnight test was a success. The water was just as hot 12 hours later.

Excellent coffee thermos

I bought this thermos based on customer reviews and I am not disappointed. As a test, I filled the Stanley 25 oz. thermos with hot water and 24 hours later, it still remained hot. $50.00 is a lot of money to spend on a thermos but I am very pleased because it met my expectations. I highly recommend this size thermos when traveling.

Weak rubber stopper design, but keeps water hot

If you're not careful with how long you store a liquid in it, the rubber stopper in the lid will break - the liquid cools, forming a vacuum, and when you unscrew it, the rush of air in will pop the rubber stopper off, breaking the plastic rim that it connects to. We tried epoxying it and it just broke again. Many people on Stanley's store report this, and unfortunately, the replacement stopper, 10-03006-001, seems to be sold out for months now. The best you can do is reach out to their warranty process, but they ended up just sending us an entirely new thermos. Nice, I guess, but I just need the replacement stopper. Hopefully Stanley redesigns the stopper to handle this inrush of air and makes that available for sale. Otherwise, this does a nice job of keeping liquids hot. We mostly use it for hot water and it'll keep reasonably hot for 24+ hours.

Can wait to take this some where cold. It keeps it so hot that I am afraid to burn my mouth hours later.

Best thermos I've ever had

I have used thermoses for decades. I have forever fixed a thermos of coffee first thing in the morning. I have wanted one of these Stanley Master Thermoses for a long time. And this thermos does not disappoint. Keeps coffee hot and is easy to clean. The 25oz size is perfect for my needs. I'll be getting a LOT of use out of this!
