Horrible product! Battery lasted for one boil and will no longer hold enough of a charge to boil again. Power AC adaptor takes 1 hour for water to reach boiling point. Garbage!
life changing potential
I absolutely love this product, and of all the smart mugs I have tried in the past few years, this is by far the best because it is the only one that heats and keeps my coffee at the exact perfect temperature for me, 159°. also, if I know I'm taking it around with me and don't have the battery on it. (honestly I don't usually use the battery often – it doesn't last very long and it's heavy and awkward – I just use the base charger) so if i know I need time to get from my house to my car before I drink it, I can set it to 165 or 170 or whatever i want up to 212! it's amazing. it's good insulation as well. I have the next mug, and I do use that as well – but it's totally different and not nearly the product cauldron is it could be problem is they don't last quite a year. I have two of them that died a few months shy of one year. Personally, the joy of perfect temperature coffee is worth the price tag even if I have to buy one every year. I guess I'll consider it a membership. I do hope they get better in the future. The idea is genius. by the way, they have been unreachable lately, but I was able to contact them through Facebook messaging and have been told they will send me a replacement in honor of their warranty. I'm ecstatic and hoping that happens.
