Beware of sizing!
These are great, sturdy rails, but when purchasing, make sure that you order the right length. The directions state that the long bed rails adjust from 60 inches to 84 inches but the packaging shows 5 ½ feet to 8 feet - both too long for a "long bed" Toyota Tacoma, unless the posts are placed at the very front and very back of the bed. Note that the photos showing OverHaul rack with side rails on a long bed Tacoma use the short bed rails! Seems like quite a few people have made this same mistake given the packaging that I received had a number of shipping labels pasted on top of one another. Fortunately REI was able to promptly ship out the short bed rails - which are adjustable from 36 to 64 inches - quickly in exchange. These should fit my 73 ½ inch long bed Tacoma much better than the long version.
Worked perfectly
Easy to install,very simple and it functions perfectly. I am going to set a Yakima 3 person HD tent on the rack system and these really stabilized the posts. I also added mounts for fuel tanks and recovery boards. Looks good & functions great!!
