Teva, not what they used to be ...
After only 2 months of wear, the sole is starting to delaminate. Had the same problem with a pair of Teva Terra Fi a few years ago, but at least they lasted a couple fo seasons. I remember wearing my first pair for many seasons of paddling, portaging, hiking and strolling, until the soles were literally worn to the straps. Time to move to another brand, giving Chacos a try. So long, Tevas, it was good while it lasted.
Painfully Uncomfortable triangle buckle
These sandals look nice but they shredded my pinky toes. The triangle shaped plastic buckle sat right above my pinky toes and within minutes of wearing them, they opened up the skin and rubbed my toes raw. It did not matter how much I adjusted, lessened, tightened the result was the same. The triangle shaped buckle should have been designed better and with a soft material over it , considering this is a high friction point. Every step created friction in that area regardless of how tight you wear them. Not worth the money. My vacation was nearly ruined with these sandals, I do not recommend.
Uncomfortable on toes!
Too uncomfortable around the toes. Rubbed my toes raw just walking around the block 1 time.
Comfortable but not for people with narrow feet.
Bought a pair for my wife and myself. The women's sandals fit fine at size 7 but mine are too wide at size 11. The length is fine but I have narrow feet. Sure I can just tighten the straps but they hang too long they touch the ground already. Also, even if I tighten them to secure to my feet, there's still a lot of sole on both side of my feet which makes it kind of awkward to walk in. I'm not sure if the same size for men and women are the same width, if they are, I hope Teva offers them in narrow widths because the sole and straps are really comfortable.
Seem Different
These seem different from previous Teva sandals. The soles seem to be thinner. Not sure if I like this yet.
Barely ok...
What can I say, you get what you pay for, and I got mine on sale for $30. The straps are cheap Velcro that irritates your skin and is hard to adjust--the heal is NOT adjustable. The buckles rub on the outer side of your foot. I'm a 10.5 but the 11s I bought are a little small still. And my girlfriend says they're just ugly. I don't get all of the positive reviews, unless the guys are just to cheap to buy nice sandals. They're good to keep in your trunk for when you forget your good sandals.
Back to basics
Basic every day sandal, simple design, very comfortable and long wearing…….I have worn this model for years and see no reason to change up. When you find something that works, stay with it.
Very comfortable, dries quickly
Comfortable and light, great for hot weather. Not so great in the water, as the toe tends to flip downward as you walk through the water, creating drag which could cause you to trip.
Love these Tevas
Very light and comfortable; would consider bring these on backpack as camp shoes. Great value!
Destroyed my feet hiking in these. (city use only)
Destroyed my feet hiking in these. Abrasions on different parts of the tops of my feet and massive blisters on the bottom. Will take a few weeks to recover. Granted this was a 12 mile hike that was somewhat wet. I think these are great for city chilling but don't try to hike in them
