Made my other holsters obsolete
Best bear spray carry solution I've found. I own several other holster designs and they're all sitting unused, as I always grab this one whenever I go out. The best.
Peace of mind solo running
Got this in XS for solo trail runs. I'm a small person so I have to wear the belt nearly as tight as it can go. It's comfortable and the spray stays secure. I haven't had any issues with chafing etc, although I've yet to take it out for more than a 10mi run.
Great for small waist
Carries the 10.2 canister of Bear Spray perfectly and is comfortable to wear. I’m 5’4” 129 lbs and theirs not a lot of adjustable strap available after it’s cinched up. So 4 rather than 5 stars because of size limitations.
works well (and versatile!)
It works as expected as a bear spray holder. It makes me feel much better when I'm out biking, knowing the bear spray is securely on me. The adjuster on mine slips a little, but it mistly stays in place. Alternatively, it also made an excellent makeshift sling when I gave myself a shoulder separation and had to hobble back to the trail head.
Bulky and Sized Small
It does the job okay - but it is much bulkier than it needs to be. Sizing wise - I wear a small in pretty much everything and the small/medium was all the way open and still a little tight.
Chafed on 30 mile run
Chafed my low back where canister was. It has been fine for shorter 5-20 mile runs
Dangerous location to wear.
Crash with this on your back and land on it your athletic days will be greatly diminished if not completely finished.
