Not what it seems
Buyer beware: This knife has textured grip material on only one side. The reverse side is just plain metal and is rather slick. Additionally, the pocket clip is ridiculously tight and difficult to slide on to jeans or slacks.
Badassador, Mountain Rescuer
A nice utility knife for work around the house and yard. The blade comes wicked sharp out of the box, opens nicely and fits great in the hand. While I'm partial to drop points, the cleaver shape is good for utility tasks like opening boxes, slicing things out of my garden and some wood working. Only a few things I would change. 1. Make it leftie-friendly (!) and maybe thicker blade stock towards the edge. The steel is pretty easy to resharpen, takes a good edge and the shape is pretty easy to work with when it comes to maintenance.
Extremely sharp
Every deployment I had we where issued a pocket knife. The knife I so wish was part of our deployment gear has it’s unique way of mixing itself on that list was this knife. It’s is sturdy and extremely sharp and well crafted.

This would be a 5 star knife if it held an edge better. I opened it out of its cardboard box, looked it over and realized it had a good edge from the factory. I used it to cut through the plastic packaging on another Gerber and the plastic left a very noticeable notch in the blade. I sharpened it out but have had it a few weeks now and it rolls an edge with average daily use. I'd pay double for the same knife with a better blade.
Man up
For the life of me I can’t see how this knife is getting such low reviews. I’ve been rocking it as my edc since it’s release now and I’ve been having a hard time even considering switching it out with a different knife. I’m loving the clever blade and the pocket clip keeps it in place so well it’s probably the first knife I’ve had that I haven’t even worried that it would fall out. I also don’t have a hard time opening it one handed in either hand like others have complained about. So in conclusion if you are a male that always carries a knife with you as a handy tool/defense item than start acting like the man you’re trying to make people think you are and stop complaining. Are there better knives out there? Of course Are there worse knives out there? Absolutely But of all the knives out there not many of them dominate their price range like this knife does.

As close to perfect as I've ever owned. Definitely my favorite knife in terms of looks. The back is thick and solid and the weight does most of the work when it comes to slicing. The blade is short enough to carry legally (3.5") but the handle (4.5") and the choil are large enough to give a good grip. I'd call this my ideal knife if it had a flipper. If they ever make a version like that, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Love the cleaver style blade not many of those out there love G10 handles I was super excite to get this knive sadly mine is way too stiff out of the box thumb can’t open or close it 1 handed I’m 5 10 260 so I don’t think strength is the problem I would love to see this blade with G10 both sides thumb stud and liner lock instead of current configuration I’m still gonna carry it hopefully it will loosen up a bit
Mr.
Best folder I have purchased to date, and I have had a few. There is a break in period with this folder so do not be alarmed. The blade is awesome and is useful for a variety of cutting jobs. Let’s face it, this folder is good looking and fairly intimidating. I am sharpening mine to a reflective finish on the cutting edge. Going to hone with a 12,000 stone and then leather strip it up fine.
Perfection
"It should be illegal to have a knife that sharp!"-a quote from my coworker after he used my knife to cut through a weaved plastic sand bag (I may have had to sharpen it to a true razor point after I bought it)anytime one of my coworkers needs to borrow a knife they come to me because they know my knife will cut like a hot knife through butter and will not go dull...perfection.
Straight Cutter
Steak, beards, carving, everything. This knife carries a razor sharp edge. Im not one for thumb hole opens, but this is large enough and easy to open, however will not come open in a pocket. Its an eye catcher and my new everyday carry. The pocket clip was super stuff at first but then worked/lifted it slightly with a butter knife and now it works perfect.
