Keeps the water cold and ice frozen.
Best purchase for hydration and a few supplies. The air scape is a huge asset to cooling my back and keeping the ice frozen. We were out nearly three hours hiking in the triple digits. That pack kept the water ice cold. Please put that feature in the trail running back packs. Please!!

Still searching for the perfect small day pack...
The biggest issue with this pack is that the side pockets aren't big enough to hold a phone (unlike my Osprey 22 bag) so you have to put your phone on your back which means it's not accessible. In my case I just wear an additional fanny pack strap around my waist so that my phone is still accessible. Honestly if they fixed the side pockets I would recommend the pack, but as stands I don't think it's worth $140... Also, I've noticed the osprey hydration hoses get kinked very easily - mine was kinked on purchase but I didn't realize until I got home because it was inside the pack. Now I have to see if I can get a replacement, it's hard to suck water through.

Almost great....

I have the Men’s version and got the Raven 10 in gray for my wife. Overall, it is a good pack with great storage, good compartments, etc. I have to agree that on mine and on this one, the magnet that holds the drinking tube is not only weak, it will not fit the 3L bladder! How is that possible? We bought a couple of 3L for longer rides and the magnet is about 1mm larger in diameter so it will not stay attached. Lastly, mountain biking is a muddy sport and our Camelbaks cleaned up better. A moderately aggressive scrub with a damp towel got 99% of the mud off of several generations of Camelbaks. The Ospreys are harder to clean and we are just accustomed to small mud stains all over them. I do like the Hydraulics bladder design way, way better than Camelbak design and I like the tool compartment. When it comes to these, no one brand has the total package, they are all a compromise.

Irritating mouthpiece placement

Love the storage and functionality of this pack. It holds and organizes everything perfect. However, the mouthpiece will not stay attached to the magnetic clip. It falls off immediately, then dangles irritatingly for the duration of my ride or hike. I’ve done everything I can think of to adjust it, but I’m over the design problem!

Meh, its okay

I purchased all three of Osprey's MTB specific packs (in various sizes, as well as mens and women's versions, nonetheless) and this was the best of the 8 I tried, however, still has some serious flaws. First, its just uncomfortable--its heavy and the material is thick and rough. I LOVE my talon--especially the front stretch pocket, but the front stretch on this is so small its not really functional. The tool roll and dedicated pocket are cool, but all of the attachment points I find unnecessary and just add weight to the bag. Lastly, I miss the old school design of the water bladder in the main compartment...the extra zipper section again, adds weight and takes up extra space. Also agree with others--the waist pockets could have been great if they were made with a stretch material to allow for a phone. I also wish this exact design was the 14L pack (its NOT--the 14L has even more design flaws!), as 10L is just a smidge too small for my needs (I ride with a full first aid kit).

Still have sweaty back

Cons: My back is still sweaty even tho it suppose to have good ventilations. The side pocket doesn’t fit my phone so I have to put it in the center which makes access harder. Pro: Nice constructions. Pretty color, fits well, water hose setup is easy.

Awful hydration pack!!

This pack feels very cheap and not like any other Osprey I have owned. It's extremely uncomfortable to wear and the magnet is very weak and doesn't hold the tube at all.

Love this bag!

The Raven 10 has everything you need for a day on the bike, whether it's mountain biking (reason I purchased) or city/commuting. It holds all your gear and then some, tools, hydration, key fob, locks etc. I keep tools, levers, spare tube. I have not yet used the hydration pack that comes with it yet. I didn't want to add extra weight/bulk right away as I had never really rode a bike with a back pack before. Next Mountain biking excursion !

Great All Around Pack

I live this backpack for so many things. I've had this style for about 10 years now and bought this to give to a friend as a gift. I have used it for short hikes, cycling, traveling, Etc and it has never disappointed.
