Good boots
Co-op member from Chicago. I’ve used the same pair of military ”mickey Mouse” boots over 20 years for winter working, carpentry, concrete, occasional walk threw the woods.. I lost them in a move.. so far I like thies as much maybe more.. there light, comfy, slide off easy, stay on tight. SOX are important. I used three pairs of wool while working on a shoveling crew, walked about ten hours shoveling and salting in them, no complaints.. we salt around here, can be hard on stuff I think they will last. Can reseal the inside or replace the insert if needed. Light enough to hike in, strong enough to work in.
Good with room for change
Comfortable. Appear to be constructed well. Hold up well to cold and wet conditions, snow at minus 0 degree F. What i would change: difficult to put on, though a little 'too much' room in foot box - Felt insert should be anchored to boot calf.
Perfect for snowy Seattle
Purchased a few weeks before our first snowfall in Seattle. Good fit, comfortable, warm and good traction in snow and slush. I appreciate I can purchase replacement liners.
