AMAZING SOCKS
I was blown away by these socks. I spent three weeks traveling in Europe and took the chance I could make two pairs of socks work and boy did they. I got back from a day of hard walking/hiking. Took off my socks, washed them out in the sink with my shampoo, rolled them in a dry towel and then wrung them out hard and hung them up to dry. Forgot about them until the next morning. Sometimes 4 hrs later they WERE DRY and ready to wear. I usually wore my second pair of socks to give the wool extra time to dry but it honestly wasn't necessary. I'm now switching my work socks for the hospital to these SmartWool PhD socks. I'm obsessed and totally hooked. If you're wondering if you can get by with two pairs of socks during travel I can safely say you can. Even in humid conditions the socks were dry the next day.

This is a product worth purchasing
I love these socks. I just got paid so I'll be buying enough to wear much more. I have a lot of trouble with socks and sweaty feet. Wearing these socks I have no troubles and it helped me clear up my athletes foot. These socks are SOOO much better than polyester/nylon blends, and to date they are out performing my cotton socks, which I thought were all I could wear.

Love the entire Phd line!!
I purchased this particular style as a gift for my daughter. She is a nurse and spends long hours on her feet. When she wears these socks (when compared to other brands) her feet are in much better shape at the end of the shift.
Good Fit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Socks are so thin and lightweight, they may be a little bit too thin for running around playing frisbee. Could use a tiny bit more cushion under my big toe. However, they are a perfect fit and will probably be great for biking.
Beautifully designed
This wonderful sock works great as a stand alone running/everyday sock or as a wicking liner underneath a heavier wool socks for colder adventures. It hugs your foot but doesn't bunch or constrict. The blue color is fantastic!!
SO warm and perfect for sneakers
I love Smartwool and have some of the longer socks which I wear with boots. I bought these to wear with sneakers and lower booties. I LOVE them. They keep my feet so warm and allow them to breathe.
Lovely
I love that I can wash these by hand and have them be dry when I need to wear them again. Also, I've noticed my feet feel less sweaty when I wear these socks as opposed to other socks.
