Exterior Fabric Started Tearing after 1 month

Purchased in December but didn't start wearing until March. By end of the month the exterior fabric started to tear along both sides of the show, once that mesh started to tear it allows water to seep in and it is no longer waterproof. Only got about 1 month out of them before this happened. This has now occurred with both L and R shoes. I am very disappointed with this show and do not recommended it and am starting to question to continue purchasing other shoes from this company as I seem to have to purchase more two pairs a year due to sole ware.

Out of the box I found these shoes a little narrow in the toe box and the heal pocket is a little shallow and does slip at times. After a few runs and a couple of hikes I have found that overall they are well constructed, water proof, protect your feet on rocky uneven surfaces, light weight and overall good performers. The heal slippage is not enough to cause blisters and it feels as though they are stretching out a bit in the width. I will be looking at purchasing a second pair but not waterproof ( a little cooler )for summer use. One last comment … pretty good looking shoes too!

Great fitting trail show especially for my narrow feet. Had a few runs and very stable giving confidence on rough terrain. Laces are a bit sticky when pulling only issue. This is the best fitting shoe I have had. Cheers iain

They look sleek but they hurt my feet

This is the only shoe I’ve ever worn that gives me shooting pains in my shins. It’s almost as though the shape of the heel forces the foot directly downward, instead of rolling forward toward the ball of the foot. They look great so as long as I don’t have to walk in them for more than 15 minutes, it’s fine… I wonder if this is how women feel about heels.

Bought these as my new rock climbing approach shoes, they have great traction and the lacing system is great. The cons are that they just arn't too rugged/durable and fit is quite narrow. They also get pretty hot, but that's just how most shoes with gtx are, the waterproofing is fantastic though.

It fits a little tight compared to salomon boots. I do like them, especially the grip. Quality is very good. The quick lace system has two different sizes on each foot which I don't like much, but that's being pretty picky.

I’ve been using these now for some time on steep and snow covered terrain, with no complaints. These are my second pair of gortex ones, and they seem more robust than the previous pair... well done Salomon!
