Very pleased with my new Maui Jim's. (A pair lies on the bottom of the Great South Bay.) No glare on the water, true colors, relieves glare eyestrain - super comfortable.
You're going to break these frames.
I love the Maui Jim Maui Rose lenses and have owned several pairs with different frames throughout the years. That being said, these frames are incredibly fragile. If you ever plan taking these off of your face you will need to put them into their case immediately. Don't wear them around your neck in case anyone hugs you. Don't ever put them down. Carry the case with you where everywhere you go. The temple on these glasses will break. Mine just broke for the second time. These things are eggshell fragile. Maui Jim does a great job repairing your glasses if you need to send them back but that's just one more thing that you have to do and it takes too long because when it comes to sunglasses 1 day is too long. I hate these frames!

New Maui Jim's! The Wild Coast with the Blue Hawaii lens is my 11th pair of MJ's. I am kind of a sunglasses nut. I have very high sensitivity to light. I for years purchased the brand with the big C. Several years ago got 1st pair of Maui Jim's. Now the only ones I buy. You have to spend the $$ for high quality sunglasses. These are the first pair I have purchased with the Thin Glass lenses, and I love them. If you are concerned about weight, do not be. They are so so light. Not much difference from the plastic lens. Maui Jim Blue lenses are so great in bright sun on the water. Maui Jim in my opinion, and this comes from someone that has over 20 pair of sunglasses, has The Best lens polarization technology out there. Also love the MJ Maui HT Green lens for evening and or cloudy days. Pretty much have to wear sunglasses unless it is dark outside. Maui Jim customer for the rest of my life.
Loose Temple
I was extremely excited when I received these. I heard great things about the brand and the quality that they produce. However, I am quite displeased with the quality of the frame. It felt flimsy and unstable on my face. After only 2-3 months, the screws that hold the temple in place unthreaded. They have not been easy to put back in and my expectations of the product have not been met.
Fragile
Very Fragile! Constantly having to send back in to repair brackets. I love the way they look and the small sides to keep from getting big tan lines but after sending in for the 5th times decided to buy a different pair.
Fashion and function
These glasses fit great and they are not too bulky or heavy. The polarized lenses are great for driving or a sunny afternoon on the beach.
