[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third pair of Pilsner's, (I've bought commando, spruce and now gravel) I had to buy these when I spilled some paint on my spruce colored ones. I love the form and function of these pants, they look good enough for office casual, but are still athletic enough to hike and fish in. I wore a pair of these on an overnight hike up the east Lostine drainage to the base of Eagle Cap @ Mirror Lake. These breath fairly well and are thin enough for all but the hottest days, strangely they're also fairly good at blocking light wind and can be worn on cooler days as well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these after being issued a coupon; I needed a new pair of pants that weren’t (Carhartts - the only pants I have found to hold up) to hike in. These were purchased with extreme skepticism. I got “gravel” and a 36 waist x 34 inseam (I usually run 34x34 with other pants - such as the Carhartt). When they arrived I found the gravel color is between grey and army green, depending on the light. They fit extremely well and I find it very easy to move. They are VERY light weight and I can ball them up into something about the size of a tennis ball. They are extremely comfortable, like a light sweat pan. They, in my opinion, don’t have the cut and look of a regular hiking pant and can be passed off as casual, office quality pants.
Comfortable but too snug for outdoor use. The crotch gusset makes a difference, but the fit across waist and rear is of the skinny-hipster-jean style. They seem like somebody took regular slim-fit pants and made them out of a synthetic blend. Probably fine for an evening stroll (maybe go up a size in the waist) but not for anything more strenuous.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pants are really amazing, they are very light, sit perfectly on the body and they look greattttt. It's not the first pants that I buy from Columbia and also the other pants are great but uniqueness of these pants is that in addition to the good functionality they also looks really good and sit amazing. It really made me think to buy another pair. I whish I could get them in black
I am a big fan of the Global Adventure pant but they have been running a little small for the past year or two. Although these pants also run a little small, they are far more comfortable and durable. Best pants yet. Keep up the great work Columbia!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pants are great, they have a great stretch and good mobility which makes hiking and rock climbing easy to do in them. They dry quickly. Overall, I am very pleased. Some of the stitching seems a little sloppy but overall would buy again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love these pants. They are light weight and soft but don't feel like plastic. My one complaint is the pockets are mesh. Ever put your keys in a mesh pocket, yeah they are still in there cause they get caught and tangled in the mesh.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pilnsner peak pant has good quality, foldable pant fits my backpack, soft material and slim fit cut, it was better to be modern fit classic size. Altogether it is good but you have more better choices on columbia range pants.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pants are terrific; they fit great with just the smallest bit of stretch in the waist, they are stylish, cool in hot weather and look and feel great.
Was glad I had these this summer in Northern Wisconsin when the mosquitoes were out. Can easily be worn in warm weather.
