Creek and Bay tested!

I purchased this October 25, 2024. I wanted a sit on top that could keep up with the other 14-18 ft kayaks in my group. I tested a used one for a nice 2.5 hour paddle and found it to be very comfortable. Purchased one for myself and have used it three times so far. Two paddles have been on local creeks. Enjoyed paddling and speed it very good. I also want to get back to occasional fishing. This kayak will do both. My other paddle was on Back Bay in Va Beach, VA. I was out on a nice day with 1-2 ft swells, occasional white cap and winds around 8-12 mph. It handled quite well and was able to complete my 5 mile paddle with no problems. I prefer low angle paddling so I was using a 250 cm paddle. I have no problems with this kayak. This is my third SOT over the years and I have a Carolina 14 for my other kayak.

Best fishing kayak

One of the easiest and more effortless paddling kayaks on the market. Offers great back support as well as spacious storage, in my opinion there is not a better fishing kayak

Fish kayaking

Pretty rad. The only beef wish I had the pedal drive. Plenty of storage space and stable. This will do rapids but needs a lot of for sight for fishing set up. The tracks are great, had a scotty set up works good but think some of the fishing stuff should come stock as the extras cost and the boats pricey. But what fun. Did the big south fork tons of action and low flat spots to keep you guessing. The boat is fast and tracks well.
