These shoes are comfortable but quite slippery and not very durable. Good for beginners who would only use them on larger footholds. Stickiness improved with wear but that may have been because of the holes in the rubber. Used 2-3 times a week for about 6 months and got holes in the rubber and fabric.
Good shoes and came just as described. Fits perfectly snug but not uncomfortable and has nice colors. Would recommend to any rock climbers.
These shoes are comfortable and a great first pair of shoes! I tried them on in store and climbed the little wall there and instantly felt so much more stable than in the rental shoes. My feet were not sliding off the wall at all. These will definitely help me reach higher places with more confidence! Also, these shoes fit true to street shoe size for me. I wear womens 7-7.5 in street shoes and purchased a 7.5 in these. They are a *little* tight, just in case they stretch a bit they would be perfect but they are not too tight to make them uncomfortable. The best shoes!!
I couldn’t have picked a better beginner shoe. I love them!! Ordered my shoe size and they fit like a glove.
love these shoes for a beginner with wider flat feet. they dont stretch at all during use so they will fit like they do the first time you try them on, which is not normally for climbing shoes.
I purchased these shoes twice in the past and they were my absolute favorite, however, they seem to have changed how they are made. They run a size bigger then what I purchased before and were very loose around the ankle, and slipped in the heal. I was so disappointed! Not sure what changed but they no longer worked for me and I had to return them :(
This shoe looked very similar to my gym's rentals which were quite comfortable. I'm a total beginner and have climbed only about 6 times, one of which was on this shoe. Perhaps it's a bit early to tell, but I figured I'd write a review and update as things change. I'm usually between 5.5 Wide, 6, or sometimes 6 Wide for closed toe shoes due to bunions. I got the size 6 here and length seems fine, but width is definitely a struggle for my feet. It's very uncomfortable so I'm really banking on this pair stretching in width. Given that everyone says to always size down for climbing shoes, I might just stick it out and see if it gets better. I do also feel like the bottoms of these shoes are more slippery than the rentals so I have to be extra careful. Fit aside, I might return on this fact alone, even though I'm a total beginner.
This shoe falls apart after a couple months, rubber literally peeling away from the fabric. Don’t waste money and buy a better brand like evolv, or scarpa, 5.10 etc.. Ok for a beginner I guess but still the shoe shouldn’t fall apart like that. Very cheaply made.
I love these shoes! Quick velcro release straps. Very rigid soles. Light and nicely ventilated. They don't smell, even though I wear them with no socks.
Great beginner shoes that will get you climbing both indoor and outdoor. I’ve used these for six months and am currently climbing indoor 5.10+, outdoor 5.9/5.10, and indoor bouldering V3/V4. But I did just order some agressive shoes. These get you where you need to be but once you’ve reached a certain skill level you’ll want to get something different instead to keep progressing. So I wouldn’t consider these a long-term shoe. I’ll keep them for water soloing and future multi-pitch climbs since they are super comfortabke.
