Beautiful Jacket
I purchased this to layer under my heavy peacoat and it has served me well. Ordered my usual size small but found it to be too restricting. It was tight at the armpit and I could not wear even a simple T-shirt under. Sized up to a medium and I love it. For reference, I am 5’5” 125 lbs and very petite framed. Length is at the hips, which is awesome as I have a longer torso than the average woman. The inside is soft and for how thin the jacket is, it is incredibly warm. Zippered pockets are an added bonus. Only two negatives: it attracts hair and lint like crazy, within minutes of wear, and it would be better with an attached hood. Would definitely recommend this to a friend over other high end outerwear brands.
Great and cozy fleece
I'm happy with the fleece jacket. Loved the midnight color too! I have a long torso and arms this is just perfect. I am a L and bought and XL just in case I wanted to use it with layers and fits perfectly. One thing though is that I bought this jacket because it said it was compatible with a gore tex jacket I own (so the zippers could be joined and I wouldn't need to zipper up everything) and it's not compatible, huge disappointment in that area! Maybe it was an older model but it should not say Zipp in compatible.
What's not to love?
What's not to love? Nice length, warmth, comfort & style. Got this for a trip to NZ that was sadly canceled, but been wearing it around the house & for spring changeable weather walks. Because of its breathable material, I love that it is not bulky nor does it leave you suddenly overheated. It is more of a sweater than a jacket. Able to be used for outdoor protection, yet nice a nice to wear for work. Happy I purchased.
Almost perfect
Love the material and the color (teal) , and it's well cut also. If only they hadn't added the light green contrast stripping along the zippers, this piece would have been perfect. The contrast stripping is really jarring visually. There's also gray interfacing around the top. Too much going on visually. I recommend it in the other colors.
Great jacket but tricky slim fit
I bought this in nightshade XS because that's all that was left. The color was darker than online but I still like it. The bodice has a slim fit but still gives me room to move for a nice look. I like that the zipper pockets sit flush. It's not super thick but keeps me warm int he chilly morning and evening hours. I can't speak to the long term wear of this jacket since I've only tried it one around the house. My problem with many of the current jackets out there, including this one, is the slim fit in arms. Wearing any kind of winter long sleeve is a problem. Never mind a sweater, I tried it with a thin athletic sleeve and the tightness makes the sleeve bunch up putting it on or drag when I try to take my arms out of the sleeves. I am torn about sizing up because it means while the sleeves won't be tight, they'll be too long (I'm petite) and the bodice will be too loose in the back. Please consider adding just a little more diameter to your sleeves!
Great Everyday Casual Jacket
I live in the south, where we have mild winters. This is a great everyday jacket. It is slim fitting and not bulky or heavy. Love the zipper pockets. While it does pick up lint like all fleece/sweater type jackets, it has been very minimal. I’m very happy with my purchase.
Too slender
Although the jacket will have its uses, it is not as soft as the old Marmot fleece full-zip that it was meant to replace, which is more like a sweater. It is also quite a bit longer and barely big enough for me to zip at the bottom.
Great quality and nice fit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this jacket, it has a sweater material on the outside and a fleece material on the inside. It feels like I'm wearing something very lightweight but it's warm at the same time. It's a perfect fit, sleeves are just right.
Excellent features, lovely color ( turquoise)
I bought this jacket a few days ago ( in teal/turquoise) for my upcoming trip to Mongolia. It's simply lovely! It's warm, stylish and very "breathable". I will be using this very day under my Montreaux coat, and I cannot wait.
Love it!
This has become one of my favorite jackets! It is thick enough to keep me warm, and the interior is very soft. Love the fitting, not loose and boxy like other jackets. Highly recommend!
