Shirt or jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this primarily for hiking in cooler weather. I usually order a Large in Columbia shirts because I like a loose fit for freedom of movement. I had to exchange this for a Medium because it just hung on me and the bottom elastic was too loose to be effective. The Medium fits great (although the hood's a bit large) and there's plenty of room for movement. The fabric is soft and very comfortable. I can wear it as a shirt or over a t-shirt for a little extra warmth. This will get a lot of use when I'm out in the woods this Fall. For information purposes, I'm 5'5" and weigh 130 lbs. and have an average frame.
Perfect light jacket, super soft
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this in harbor blue, size medium. I absolutely love the color and softness. I wear a size small but wanted slightly big to wear over shirts. I wish I would have ordered a small, because it is bigger than I wanted. I would recommend ordering your exact size and it will be plenty big. I wear this often and love it. It is a great light jacket to bring into restaurants and such if you are always cold like I am. I am tempted to order the other great colors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect light weight jacket for when you need just that one extra thin layer of warmth or sun protection. Packs up small and is light weight so you can keep it with you knowing you may need it later. Really like the elastic waist and sleeves to help keep the jacket in place and prevent that gust of wind from blowing your jacket around, or helps keep your sleeves up when you need to push them up. Great little jacket, plus they're cute.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fabric is refreshingly lightweight and seems like it will keep me relatively cool on sunny summer days--because of a health condition, I desperately need at least 40 UPF to protect my head/neck/arms every day from March to November. I think the shirt I received had been returned (bag previously opened/taped shut)--there were a couple of tiny snags on it (so it may not be ideal for proximity to fishing hooks?) and there was a definite body odor on it, but I liked the garment and didn't think it was worth returning, just tossed in the wash and spritzed with Febreeze and now it's good to go. I am between sizes, so I sized up for a bit more ease since I figured I'd be wearing this over other clothes and pulling it off and on over my head a lot--very glad I did. If only I could get this in a zip-up jacket (with the higher neck coverage like this has, and which I very much need), for even easier on/offs, I would probably live in it.

It is thick enough to keep you warm on cool nights but thin enough for warmer nights.. the color is great and the contrasting color makes it look that much better. Martial is very soft. This will get a ton of use!
