More colours please!
I love this fleece. It’s so soft and flexible in its shape like everyone raves about. I love the pockets and the form fitting cut. I just wish that Arc’teryx would start making more of our women’s clothing in the colours for the men’s options. Being a size small means I can never cross over to men’s sizing for the color options. If they are making the material then why not do so for women’s too??? I just admire the men’s colours so much - in this sweater and others too! Otherwise an amazing staple in my wardrobe.
Love!
Love it so much! I have a small frame and tend to get cold easily. This piece feels like my own skin but softer and a lot warmer. The minimalism, slim fit flatters my nature curve, at the same time, without being too tight to make me cold. I wear it in the city, pair with wide leg or tapered pant, stylish, lightweight, comfortable and WARM!
Everywhere wear
This hoody is a buttery soft, cozy warm, flattering piece that travels and washes up well. A little pricey, but the fit, versatility and insulation value for weight make this my go-to piece for work and play. It layers easily over a T and slips easily under a jacket or vest.
Awesome versatile lightweight hoody
Although I have a multitude of Arc jackets, this was my first fleece piece. It most certainly will not be the last! It is fitted without being too snug or tight, and it like a soft gentle hug. The material is very soft, stretchy and feels fantastic. It adds a light layer of warmth for milder spring or fall days, or as a post running jacket in cool conditions. It is breathable and much more comfortable than a heavy cotton sweatshirt just for wearing around the house. It easily layers under a wind jacket if I want to use it when I walk the dogs. The only minor drawback is that it doesn't slide well over non-technical fabric (ie it doesn't slide well over, say, a regular cotton long sleeve shirt). But it's great over technical fabrics like the material that comprises the Phasic hoody. I like bright, fun colors for running, but was super happy to buy this in the more muted Larix green for casual wear. I will definitely get this in the Iolite blue, and perhaps the black, it is that comfortable and versatile to have on hand.
Amazingly soft
A very flattering cut - no too body-hugging but fitted. Works great both as casual and sports wear. The material feels very soft. Not so much "fleece" as you might expect, but a little bit heavier and warmer material than the old Soltera hoody.
It’s perfect
Ok, now I know why it has 5/5 so far. It’s just the prefect hoodie. Soft, stretchy technical fleece that feels so light yet keeps you warm. I see what the fuss is all about now! Arcteryx- we need some more colours please!
Smart clothing
Love love this fleece!! I bought it as a mid layer, it’s fabulous! I wear it under the Atom hoody and Beta shell, it is nothing short of amazing. I highly recommend it, it’s part of my smart jacket set up lol
Love this hoodie
Best hoodie ever. I love it, bought two. It feels good on, perfect fit. Fabulous for woman who get warm easily and prefer thin light layering. My other hoodies are going to feel very lonely.
Fabulous Jacket
This jacket is slim yet very warm. It performs better than any other brand and is well worth the money.
The layer I didn't know I needed
This hoody has gone on nearly every trip for the last year and a half. Fleece jackets weren't in my kit for a few years because I favored wool layers paired with a wind shirt or a synthetic insulated layer. Unexpectedly, this layer has become my go-to for uphill training hikes, under my ski jackets, and for long days painting outside. The reason: it is more durable and versatile than the ubiquitous zip t-neck. The first trip I took the Adahy on was a week of hiking in the North Cascades in September. On the cold hikes I kept it on the entire day, the hood and light fleece lining adding enough warmth and the full zipper enough venting for uphills. Since, I wore it on multiple bushwhacking hikes through a forest of downed trees and a month hiking and painting in Chamonix and it still looks new. The exterior of the fabric did an impressive job resisting snags. On the coldest hiking days, it adds noticeable warmth over a baselayer and under a puffy without increasing bulk. The only improvement I wish the jacket had was a little less gusseting around the chest area; if you are a smaller chested woman, try one on with a sports bra to make sure you are happy with how the fabric settles. It is worth noting that even though it is a synthetic fabric, this layer has also resisted odors quite well.
