Perfect for kayaking...and life in general
I had my eye on these browsing Patagonia's website as I'm big into kayaking and they had fantastic reviews. Actually, Patagonia is my go-to for any kind of athletic shorts. Anyway, I saw these go on sale on REI's website and I pulled the trigger. THESE DO NOT DISAPPOINT. These dry so quickly and are super comfortable. Perfect length, not too baggy but not too loose. I wear these kayaking, hiking, and pretty much wherever else. I ordered the black because honestly, I find the other patterns pretty...not my style. If they made more in solid colors, I'd buy a pair in every color - I love them that much!
Perfect travel and adventure shorts
I love these shorts. They are super comfortable, they take up no space in my suitcase, they dry super fast, and the patterns are fun. I think they are the perfect shorts for a hike where you might decide to go for a quick swim mid-hike, going to an amusement park or the beach, or meeting up with friends at a brewery. The only con is the pocket is really small, just big enough for maybe your drivers license and credit card.
New Favorite
Never thought I'd say this but I think these might replace my beloved Barely Baggies in the board short hall of fame. I really like the stretch, and they are lighter weight than the baggies material. Fit is more relaxed but I considered that a plus since sometimes the baggies dig in to the tops of my legs if I'm cycling or running. Now I'll just be painfully waiting for Patagonia to offer them in more solid colors :)
Nice Shorts
At first I wasn't sure, but now they are my go to paddle boarding shorts. I'll likely buy a second pair. I have even swam in them and didn't notice, that is how comfy they are! I bought a small, normally a medium, because I wanted them a little tighter for on the water. Small fits great!
A perfect fit

Hardly know they're there.
The longer I wear these shorts, the more I like them. I wasn't sure at first. They seemed a bit more loose than I like, but they're super comfy! Was going to wear them for workouts but the legs may be a bit wide for my comfort on the leg press, lol!

From rollerblading to the beach
I LOVE these shorts! Comfortable, cute. I use them as a third part of my orange bikini, they make a great addition for when I need some extra coverage. Otherwise they're on me almost all the time because of comfort, they make rollerblading a breeze, they're cute with all bold colors, I can take them right from sweating to the beach.
Very comfy, even in the extreme heat
The first time I wore these I hiked 14 miles, in the heat of Arizona and they were so airy and comfortable! They never rubbed or irritated my skin as some shorts do. Will be getting more pairs in different colors.
