Great mid layer fleece jacket

I'm 5ft 10 170 lbs and I normally like my clothing a little loose so most of my jackets are size Large. For the Titan Pass, a medium fits me perfectly with no pinching of the armpits etc. I use this jacket for my daily hikes in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area and I usually hike 6-10 miles daily with 1000 ft of elevation. The weight if the jacket is perfect for fall and spring and I love how the fleece breaths, wicks away sweat and keeps me warm at the same time. Polartec 200 fleece at this price point is a deal. Areas to improve? A zipper seal /flap would be great to block out the cold on windy days and a felt zipper garage by the neck would make the jacket more comfortable when I need to zip up fully.

Color is off

So the pros. Its very warm! and super comfy. The jacket is made very well and I love the design, However: The cons: The jacket in the picture shows red fleece with a dark dark grey or black chest piece, the logo in white, and the symbol on the left sleeve in white. I was disappointed upon opening the box and seeing the color is almost a red/orange. The chest piece is light grey, the coloumbia logo is light grey (almost cant make it out because its the same color) and the symbol on the left sleeve is grey as well. What made me purchase this jacket to begin with was the red/black color scheme shown in the picture. Looks aside, I love everything else about it. I just wish the picture was a bit more accurate.

just as good as north face

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was originally going to get a north face fleece jacket, but I tried it on at a store and it ran a little small. I'm planning to use this as a layer found the sleeves to be a little tighter too. I tried on the one from Colombia and it was a perfect size and ran a little larger than what I usually wear, which was exactly what I was looking for. It's just as warm as the last north face fleece I wore at more than half the price. Can't go wrong with that! And the color is awesome too, a nice green that you can't find in other companies

Husband says it's the best jacket ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this coat to replace an older Columbia fleece jacket that my husband had worn for several years. He was heading back to the mid west on business, and I wanted him to be warm. He says the coat actually breathes and he is always the perfect temperature when he is wearing it. When it's cold out, he feels warm, when it's warm, he isn't hot. He loves the jacket, and I know he'll get many years of wear from it. He really likes the outside zip chest pocket. It's big enough to carry his samsung note 4 phone.

Great Everyday Fleece

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fleece has newer Polartec Alpha application in the textile. It really performs well and a must have for every day layering or a cooler (not for cool weather or above 58-60 degress F) day as outer layer. I'm a hairy guy so wearing a good base layer in the colder weather helps wick away sweat. Fleece drys quickly and has good range of motion and adequate 2 front waist pockets with smaller breast security pocket. If the upgraded Polartec is only in this Titanium version, spend the extra to get it.

The Fleece to End All Other Fleece

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Polartec is an amazing material, its warm, its light weight, its water repellent and most important its soft. There's not much more to say. I just wish that is was cut to fit like a small normally would, it feels like its almost a medium. But I still wear it normally as a mid layer so it gets compressed to be a little bit warmer and makes it look like I fill my rain jacket out more. Polartec doesn't give you those weird little pill ups like a traditional fleece which is great.

Fabulous Fleece

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly this is a perfect fleece jacket. As an active administrator at a high school, I am constantly outside for a variety of supervisory responsibilities. The Titan Fleece is a perfect jacket in the changing Pacific Northwest weather. It does fit a bit large so choosing a small was perfect. Not only is the fleece tightly woven to keep me warm, but it looks great as I received compliments the first day I wore this to work. Outstanding fleece jacket. Highly recommended.

Warm, functional, good-looking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this fleece jacket to upgrade from a more basic piece from another manufacturer. I like the extras that make it possible to wear it even as a top layer in certain cases: its pocket, the hem of its sleeves, the ability to tighten its bottom. It also looks nice. I don't normally like to wear polar fleece in public, only for outdoor activities. Still I have no problem wearing this particular jacket in the city. It looks quite nice.

Titan Fleece 2.0

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the feel and protection I get from fleece. Polartec is a great material for all weather conditions. The jacket fits well through the chest and the length is great. For some reason the sleeves are unusually longer than other jackets I’ve bought. I had the sleeves hemmed to fit me properly. Other than that. I couldn’t be happeier with the jacket. Ever works great as a layer under a shell jacket. I highly recommend Columbia products.

He loves it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Titanium collection is the top-of-the line for Columbia; it's all we want and we're sticking with it. Why they took it away and finally brought it back, I'll never know. It gives the other brand a run for their money. The jacket is well made, fit is great; more form fitting instead of it looking like a box. Only problem is the sleeves are too long even though he has long arms. And the fleece is stepped up to 200.
