Sizing notes

Some women's pants are available in petite and tall sizes. Typically petite sizes fit women 4'11" to 5'3". Regular sizes fit women 5'4" to 5'8". Tall sizes fit women 5'9" to 5'11". PETITE: Generally, as compared to regular sizes, petite sizes are 2.5 inches shorter in inseam and ¾ inch shorter in total rise. TALL: tall sizes are 3 inches longer in inseam and 1 inch longer in total rise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket I needed a new down packable and I picked this one up because it was much cheaper than Patagonia. I was pretty excited about it being down and synthetic fill. I'm always torn between down and Primaloft and now I have a jacket that has both! I winter bike and the fit was great... Most women's jackets are cut pretty slim to make women look skinnier but that cut sucks for riding because you're hunched over. It has enough room in the shoulders and a decent arm length. I've used it for riding and took it up north by the Denali highway for a hunting layer in October which kept me warm.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Packable Jacket This jacket is NOT bulky and looks more tailored than the average 'puffy' jacket. It's warmer than I expected but on a few days when I've worn it in below freezing temperatures to run errands, you feel the cold start cutting through. I have travelled with it and stuffed it into its own pocket when I didn't need it. Overall, I am happy with this purchase and think it's a great value at the sale price on REI.com. I have given this 4 stars only because I've had more feathers escape than I would expect. From day one I would find a single feather every so often making its way out of the fabric. This is my only complaint, but the leakage is so low I'm not worried.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm but light. What I like about this Jacket: It's light enough to fit in my small day pack but the extra loft in the upper body and longer length really make a diff. I'm small, 5'3" and 102 lbs (always cold) and this jacket allows me to layer less, yet stay warm. Anyone who's been caught in a rain storm in a down sweater will appreciate the benefits of the Primaloft/down blend. Perfect for SF/Marin County temperatures. It's been my go to these days. My only complaint is the limited color selection.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Needs a lot of adjusting after washing Loved this jacket when I wore it for spring skiing in Canada. Color is fun, it was warm and especially liked the pack-ability. Washed it once and now the filling is all bunched up. Some parts of the the sleeve have absolutely no filling and other parts of the sleeve are chock full. Don't know if it's a problem with the baffled styling or if it's a problem with the filler clumping after a wash (I washed and dried per manufacturer instructions). I find myself constantly trying the massage the filler into the empty parts of the sleeves now. It was on sale at the end of season and I needed it for a vacation - if I had paid full price I'd probably be pretty unhappy about it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Light, warm, classic Pros: light, simple, fitted, soft, keeps you warm, a lot of pockets, packable, price, dries quickly when wet Cons: feathers come out all over my cloth car seats, the material is easily damaged, don't stand too close to warm surfaces because it will melt the fabric

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, packable jacket I bought this to fill in the void between my <15 degree mountain hardware and >25 degree Columbia. It doesn't list a temperature rating but I've been comfortable in it from 10 degrees to 35 degrees. Wind makes a big difference too. It does a decent job blocking medium winds but if it's a strong wind you'll need an actual wind blocker. I love that is compact and packable, super lightweight and very soft. I got the white/clear color and you can see where the down collects at the elbows and other places. I am a lean 5'6", 120 lbs and while the XS fit me I went with the SM so that I could wear something thicker underneath. It still fits very well and the cut is nice and feminine. I also like that the jacket comes down far and hits about mid-butt. It doesn't have the nice features of much more expensive jackets like fur lined cuffs or collar, but it's a great deal for a good jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not bulky, plenty warm Wanted a lighter-weight jacket that could stand up to 0º-30ºF weather in Bozeman MT - this fit the bill! Packs down into it's own pocket for easy packing (or in my case, a pillow on the plane ride home!) Arm length is great - I am 5'10" and that can be an issue with jackets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy as a clam I bought this a month ago and I've worn it constantly since - including on some winter hikes/snowshoe excursions in RMNP and the Tetons. I was a little nervous when I bought it that it wouldn't keep me warm enough because of how light it is - but it has yet to fail me. My core has always stayed warm or even hot. Couldn't be happier with the purchase and so far I haven't missed not having a hood - that's what hats are for.
