[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was nervous to get these boots because I usually have wide feet and these kind of Chelsea boots just end up being too tight but these were perfect! They're not only comfortable but they also are perfect for the Chicago winters that are coming up and I can't wait to wear them. There was a little bit of a breaking in period but I think that's normal with many shoes. I did receive these boots in exchange for my honest review!
I would buy this boot in every color!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This boot will be my new fall and winter staple for sure! Heavy duty but still breathable which are features you can never find together. Will definitely keep my feet warm all fall & winter! Also, such a cute daily boot that can be dressed up or dressed down. Such a cute color and so comfortable as well! The worst part about new shoes is usually having a "break in period" where they hurt your feet but these boots have not felt that way. I definitely recommend this if you're looking for a new every day boot!
They fit extremely tight
I'm size 7.5 normally. I ordered two pairs of 7.5 size boots, and I was very disappointed to find how tight these boots fit. It felt like half a size too tight - and I was very very thin socks. Now imagine in the winter time when I wear thicker socks? I need to re-order but a whole size bigger. Very disappointed and sad they didn't fit well. Also, the color is supposed to be a light tan, but it looks more gray than tan.
Brimfield Mid Chelsea
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Boot appeared sturdy and was a bit stiff, but may have softened over time. Sizing was on the larger side. Originally ordered an 8 to accommodate for thick socks, although my regular size is a 7 1/2. It was about 1/2inch too big even with the thickest sock and an insole. Returned and reordered a 7 1/2. It was a little better, but still too big and hard. May have worked with more conditioning to leather and an insole, but I also didn't particularly like the almond toe box. It needed to be a little rounder. It did have a great durable treaded sole, very good quality construction and leather.
Cute and well made
Heavy, well made boot, and love the brown leather look! Scuffs are natural but add to the look and would rub out. The quality here sent me on a timberland rampage to stock my closet. I have average size 6 feet. I tried 6 in store and was a little big, even with a big sock. I did 5.5 and it was a perfect fit

Received a compliment the first time I wore them
I bought the full grain brown leather version in a size 8. I normally wear an 8 or 8.5 (but the store they only had 8). I live in Southern CA where it's rarely below 65 degrees, and only wear boots with thin to normal socks, not thick boot socks. If I did want to wear them with thick socks, I'd definitely go up to 8.5. I like that the side panels and sole are brown vs black that are on most chelsea boots, and the toe looks patina'd just a bit. I received a compliment the first time I wore them. I found them easier to get on off than my Doc Marten leather chelsea boots, but this shaft is slightly shorter too and the side panels have releative give. The rest of the boot is fairly stiff, which to me is normal.
From September to May, I only wear my Timberlands!
