Great jacket. Used as standalone. Definitely agree the fit is much looser and baggier than other product of same size. Purchased size L.
This could be an essential winter layer. Great length and fit overall is remarkably good. I'm wearing the M over a Kyanite LT in L and it's basically the same dimensions, sleeve, body and collar. It obviously is very much "regular" for medium and leaves ample room under without being unnecessarily baggy. I'm 178cm and 85kg, wear L in most things for a bit of give and this is in M is perfect. And it's deceptively warm for its weight.
This is a perfectly light mid layer that’s roomy enough to add a light fleece like a Delta underneath for those brutal days. This kept me warm on a blizzard mammoth day. The crew neck is such an underrated feature. It allows all the other layers to work in unison without putting pressure on my neck.
The jacket itself is fine. I decided to return it shortly after trying it on because the chest logo is awkwardly large. I have a Gamma lightweight jacket, which I love, but the logo on the Allium is almost twice the size of the logo on the Gamma. I am not trying to broadcast the brand!
Hi Rick. Thank you for your feedback on the Allium Insulated Jacket. We understand that branding size and placement can be a personal preference, and we appreciate you sharing your perspective. Your input is valuable as we continue to refine our designs.
This intend to be little thin and little baggy. It's thin and baggy enought. Pockets super. There are very many products with slimmer fit and they are warm enought for your purpose if you are after them. Standalone or midlayer. Not too hot but just right.
This has been an excellent mid layer under shells and insulated jackets. It adds warmth without trapping moisture. It’s light and really adds very little bulk. Less than some fleece’s offer. It meets and exceeds my expectations.
This dress is great to wear as an outer layer, as described it is for skiing but wearing it in everyday life it's just as good, loose but not oversized. I've listed him as the best outer layer for late fall and early winter!
Light weight, breathable and warm as a mid layer under a shell. It also looks great as an around town jacket!
Perfect for any occasion, skiing, walking, biking, keeps me the right temperature no matter what im doing.
Excellent fit, Comfort stretch on sleeves, breathable and very high thermal insulation properties
