Comfortable walking shoes, but have not held up. Collar of shoes started to wear away after 2 mo's.
These Keen hiking shoes are very comfortable, and fit my narrow feet well. There is just one problem - the shoelaces that came with them are too short to do anything other than tie in a knot, without tying into a bow first. Maybe the shoelaces are long enough for smaller sized shoes, but they are inadequate for my size 12 shoes. Minor issue, all things considered, but still…
I've been searching for a sneaker-like alternative to my go-to Merrell Moab 3s because as wonderful as those are, they do look kind of clunky. These aren't perfect but I'm going to keep them. They are lightweight and look like a sneaker rather than a hiking shoe - and look better for those less 'outdoorsy' occasions. And I dig the cool green color. :-) My wish list for this shoe: 1) Make the tongue a bit thicker to pad the laces when they are tied and 2) consider putting a contoured insole in them rather than just the the flat liner. I ended up just putting my insoles on top of the liner because I had gone up 1/2 size from my previous size and I needed to take up some volume, but if you want a bit more support without using an insole, you might not find you have it.
Finally, hiking shoes that look like your traditional tennis shoes with a contemporary look, and cool colors! I originally wanted white, but orange was the only color available in store, the one that looks like a Creamsicle! I have so many compliments for this shoe. All around comfort for my fussy feet, and even better when I took out the insole and put in my super feet run in lows. There was definitely enough room for that, wearing my cushioned running socks. Since it's so hard to make my feet happy, I went ahead and bought two more pairs in white and the other grey! My original orange one seems to get more comfortable the more I wear them! I'm expecting the same thing with my two other pairs. I wear them walking the dog on pavement and on light hiking trails. I'm glad I splurged and treated myself, since you never know what the styles will be like when you need to replace them! I wear a seven and bought seven, and the size was right. Try them out, and bring your insoles just in case!
Comfortable but NOT durable! I have had these shoes less than a year and they already have several tears in them and need to be replaced. In the short time I had them they were incredibility comfortable but they were not aggressive trail shoes and not worth the investment.
Shoe is exactly what I needed for walking—wide toe box and heel support. Runs small-I am typically a size 10 and needed to exchange for a 9.5
Fits perfectly like the Keens I have always loved. The toe box is amazing and roomy. Best part is the shoe is in orange—my favorite color.
