Great for keys.
This is great for large keyrings or keyrings with a lot on them. We have multiple remotes and keys for our household, so we put a remote from each car on one end, and on the other side, each person has their own personalized key set (lip gloss,house key, bike lock key, etc). That way we can mix and match whatever vehicle and key we are using that day. I did modify mine by drilling a small hole in the fat part of the biner to allow a key ring, as opposed to just putting it in the hook. This keeps my keys from falling off of the hook accidentally opens. Nite Ize should really look at modifying the design to accommodate an opening. I also used two of these for the straps on my laptop bag. It had adjustable straps but not rotational. I just looped the strap through one side, and the hook through the other, and instant swivel. It also allows me to quickly remove the strap and stow it and use the bag as a backpack or handbag.

Here is the answer to my gear separation anxiety. I can easily have some necessities clipped to my bag while I’m fishing and hiking. Reach around unscrew and there’s my essentials. The anchor is still in place so I’m not searching for it when I go to to put my “catch all” essentials up for storage while I fish.
Works great, very well made
I am a motorcycle officer and wear a load bearing ballistic vest. I keep one end on a molle loop on my vest and the other side is attached to my motorcycle keys. When I need to leave my motorcycle, I pull the keys and bring it toward the other magnetic half on my vest and presto! Keys are attached to me and secured. Then when I need to leave in a hurry, I’m not looking for my keys in a pocket, etc. I just grab the keys, give it a yank, and go. I have to order another one though,...I got hit last week, went tumbling/sliding after getting ejected and the portion attached to my vest got damaged.
Strong magnets
Very well made I’m impressed that the entire unit is made of metal no plastic at all. The magnets are very strong and the locks on the clips are an extra bonus to make sure the clips don’t open.
This thing is Awesome
I am in Law Enforcement and needed something to hold my tactical gloves to my vest to keep them from getting lost. The 360 does the job and then some allowing the gloves to swivel and not get tangled up when putting on my vest. The magnet feature is super handy when I disconnect my gloves. I just find something metal and stick the magnet to it knowing they will be there when I need them. Great product that works well for what I do. Nite Ize makes so many cool products. Keep it up please.
Magnetic Locking Dual Carabiner
The Magnetic Locking Dual Carabiner works exactly as i hoped, the magnetic strength is strong, The locking slider works well in the locking position, the only thing is its ability to slide off, and in the wrong environment it can be lost forever hahaha. Maybe if it were metal we could use the magnet from the carabiner to wave over the potential loss area and it will pick it up. Fortunately, mines fell off on a solid floor and i was able to just pick it up and slide it back on.
Nothing compares
This product made my life so much easier. Forever grateful. Dad of 4 kids with 4 pets and own 2 businesses. Hands are always full and we’re always on the go. Quick release magnet makes such a huge difference. And the twist lock feature makes it secure when we go to big events. LOVE THIS PRODUCT. Nothing else like it
SlideLock® 360° Magnetic Locking Dual Carabiner
Although the idea is good, the carabiner is too bulky. I purchased two (2) as gifts for my grandson and son-in-law. they thanked me for the gift but both commented that it was not something they plan on using because it is awkward and bulky. Sadly, I don't have the packaging to return the items.
Great Solution
Secure yet easy to access attached items when the lock is disengaged, the magnet is very strong so things stay where you want them when not locked down. The blue model is easier to work because the locking mechanism is a brighter contrasting color to the body.
Practical Performance!
I bought this item and almost immediately regretted not having bought 3. I'm confused by the fact that I can't find them on Amazon. I will find 2 more because they are that versatile and useful!
