Strap connection point broke the first use!
The connection point between the HRM and strap are poorly manufactured. The fit is too tight and very difficult to remove. Ended up breaking trying to separate the strap and the HRM. Wish I read online reviews first as lots of people are having this problem.
Half baked product
I bought it today, especially for swimming. It fits very well, but 2 major issues: 1. After clicking on the HRM600 device in the app, a running guy icon appears, and nothing happens. After that, I have to go back and click it multiple times to access the list of activities. Sometimes I restart the app, and it seems that after doing this, it requires fewer repeats to get through it. 2. There is no swim activity in the list @garmin - any plans to fix this?
Garmin HRM-600 is a winner
Replaced my HRM-Pro with this next gen chest monitor to go with my Forerunner 970. This monitor will record activity without Forerunner watch for download later and provides unique running metrics not available with previous monitors. It has an LED to guide pairing and battery status. Lasts about two months on USB charge. No fear of water intrusion since monitor detaches from strap. A significant upgrade from my HRM-Pro.
Comfortable, accurate
Bought this last month, took me a few runs to remember to put it on. Once that habit was developed, I noticed much more accurate and stable readings when connected to my Fenix 8. Highly recommended, I'll be buying my wife one as well.
Nice
I would give it 5 stars but when you record an activity in the app you get a blank screen come on Garmin your behind the curve Polar when you pair their strap and start a workout you get metrics.Have no issues pairing with other devices
Great features!
I got this just a couple weeks ago and I love all the data it provides. I also like the ability to record activities on the HRM without my watch and how accurate it is. I would definitely recommend trying it out!
So far it works great!!
Love its accuracy and ease of use. I haven't used to track a activity without watch yet but I will get to that eventually seems pretty easy and straight forward. I have practiced starting on my phone.
If you don’t have a 970… waste of money
I was excited about the HRM 600 but I quickly learned that all of the features I was excited to use do not work on forerunner 965 only 970. Very disappointing
I like the charging by USBC
that is the reason I bought. Don’t see much difference in this and the pro as far as dynamics. It’s Garmin what else needs to be said…….
Feature Filled
I bought if for the new features but they aren’t supported by my watch as of yet! The HRM600 is everything I’ve expected so far.
