This is the first run vest I’ve ever tried, and I thought overall it worked really well! The bottles were very easy to drink from and had no icky plastic taste, and the pockets were excellent! My iPhone 15Pro fit in the front pocket for easy access, and I could put Kleenex and an emergency snack in other pockets. I haven’t needed hiking poles or a light jacket yet, so I haven’t tried either of those stashing features. I did notice the slight scratchiness that other reviewers mentioned, but only for a moment- didn’t notice it at all once I got moving. So happy to have a way to easily carry water for longer, hotter runs!

I love the pole stashing system, but that's about it. There are not enough pockets in the front to meet my needs, and the pockets that are there aren't small enough. I also do not like the pocket design on the back. You have to have some serious shoulder flexibility to access the contents of the large, lower rear pocket without taking the pack off. And I wish the secure, zipper pocket was larger!
