Excellent, soft, warm, long-lasting

I bought this in Blue Heather over two years ago. I chose this because it looked sleek and well-made, without overly in-your-face branding. I work in a hospital and wear it regularly over scrubs to stay warm, and have probably worn it about 150ish times (it has effectively become my uniform). Despite this, and very frequent washing, it's shown virtually no sign of damage or wear. I'm writing a review of it now because I'm buying a second one, simply for some color variety and so I don't have to do laundry so often! I would highly recommend this product to anyone who needs a not-too-formal but clean-looking warmth factor in their uniform.

Mens' Canyonlands 1/2 zip shirt

I live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. When I searched for a 'windproof shirt' on the North Face web site, the Canyonlands shirt came up. I bought one to wear under a North Face Vest while biking on long, winter rides (30-50 miles). I wore it for the first time yesterday on a windy day. I was glad I had it on, as the closer I got to the 50 degree Gulf water, the colder it became, especially since I was generating my own wind chill riding into the wind. Since there's still a lot of winter to go, I expect to get a lot of use out of it. Admittedly, it doesn't get as cold down here as it does in more northern areas, but the shirt should be a warm addition to base layers there, as well.

TNF Canyonlands 1/4 zip

I recently purchased the Canyonlands 1/4 zip, and upon delivery discovered that the color I chose, TNF RED HEATHER / ASPHALT GREY, was significantly different than the color seen online. It was not a problem, because the color I received is a really good looking, more burgundy kind of color, and is quite good looking. The shirt is very warm, very comfortable, and fits quite well (size small). I have a ton of NF stuff, and this was definitely a nice addition, and a welcome color break. Excellent shirt, either as a layer, or a main. Definitely would recommend it.

Thank You For The Opportunity.

Thank you for the opportunity to solicit my opinion about your product. However, I must admit that I have never had the pleasure of The NorthFace experience as I have never requested anything for myself. My purchases have always been for my son. He really loves all of your items in his wardrobe including the recent gift of the Canyonlands 1/4 zip shirt in Red for Valentine's Day. In my opinion, it would almost be rather appropriate for him to change part of his name to The NorthFace. In all seriousness, I would like to say "Thank You" again for this opportunity and ask that your company, The NorthFace, never stops exploring all of the many ways to continue to provide customer satisfaction and to promote and inspire the freedom of adventure.

durable and comfortable

This half zip is awesome. I usually buy the fleece material quarter zips, but I found that they stretched out too easily and the fleece frilled up if you washed it too much. Not with the canyonland. I have recently purchased two more of these babies because the fit is snug and slim fitting. I and 6'1 165lbs and a M is perfect. The material is durable and can stand up to a beating in the wash. More importantly, it is warm. I definitely would recommend to anyone searching for a great item to throw on when it's getting a bit chilly.

Extremely comfortable and able to move around in

This is my new favorite sweatshirt to wear. I had originally ordered a large because everything else I own is but it felt a little too tight. I exchanged it and ordered it in the XL and it fits much more comfortable now! I've worn it indoors and outdoors and have stayed warm in both! I love the color scheme of a grayish white and black with blue as well. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a pullover that isn't too heavy or bulky and able to be worn comfortably in both indoor and outdoor situations.

Would definetly recommed! Very nice!

I bought this sweater as a gift for my boyfriend for Christmas. It must have been popular because it was already sold out of his size, so we went a size up! When it arrived, with great timing I might add, I was really pleased with it! It is soft and comfortable, he usually gets very warm wearing a sweater but this one is very breathable. Even being a size larger it looks really nice on him, it doesn't look over sized but he says he thinks it's a nice sweater that is comfortable, soft, and looks good. Will buy again.

Seriously. Read this.

These pullovers are perfect for me. I own three. They are great for layering or just as a warm over-shirt. All the reviews are true about the fit. As a jacket, they will feel a little small but when used as I do, they are very true to size. Better in fact because the sleeve length is longer than most. If you intend to use as a layering garment, get your normal shirt size. If you want to use as you would a zip-up hoodie (jacket) get a size larger. Except for the cost, I would own even more. Hope this helps.

The greatest pullover I've ever owned!

North Face continues to make beautiful clothing that fits very well and is reasonably priced. From my first great North Face ski jacket, to my 15 year old Denali jacket which I owned in college, to now. North Face continues to produce clothing that is built tough and looks great. The quality especially shows in their fleece material. North Face fleece never pills or wears out like other popular fleece brands. Their products are as quality as they were when I made my first NF purchased in the 1990s. And I still wear the same ski jacket! It continues to hold up and looks great! It's a reason why North Face is still my favorite brand and I continue to purchase with them. Oatagonia fleece wears out and pills within the first several wears and washes. North Face doesn't. Superb product!
