Everything you like about Keen in a trail runner

I'd been awaiting a trail runner from Keen. I wear a normal width shoe but always love the extra width and generous toe box of Keen shoes. These have perhaps a slightly slimmer fit than other Keens but are more generous than other trail runners I've had. The speed lacing system is convenient and the super-thin tongue in great. No break-in period needed at all. Reasonably light as my pair in a men's 13 weighs in at 30 oz. Very reasonable grip and cushioning. I've worn them around town quite a bit and just did a moderate 5 mile hike with a combination of groomed trail, rocky areas, and stream crossings. Performed very well and dried quickly. 4 stars just because I reserve 5 stars for phenomenal, flawless, perfect products.

Another winner from Keen

These have been great for urban hiking and walks along a river trail. I have worn them while while hiking with light and medium packs and they feel great, good fit and no hot spots.

better than running shoes

Got them for a campus orientation trip and we did a lot of walking. Great comfort and fit right out of the box. Excellent for a wide foot.

Atypical Keen Fit

Ordered these from online clearance. I'll be returning them since they did not fit as expected. I have MANY Keen shoes and I can say that, as compared to my other Keens, these have a much smaller toe box. Otherwise, nice shoe. Worth noting is that I tried the newer waterproof version in the store and based on the fit, I ordered these red non-waterproof ones.

Average Shoe

These are the first Keen shoe I've seen that doesn't have their usual toe design so I questioned whether these were actually Keens. The color is a bit pinker than shown and not a true red as I'd hoped. The fit is true to size and the "Garage" price plus 20% discount means I'll be keeping them.

Good trail running shoe

Bought for my fashion conscious teenage son, and it passed his test. Worked well for him as a hiking shoe in a recent trip to Utah.

Great keen shoe, a little loose.

I like these shoes. Nice wide toebox but a little too big. I had to add another insole to make them fit.
