Perfect Commuter/Day-Bag
I needed a bigger bag for my daily commutes to work, and this fit the bill perfectly. It doesn't seem as big as it is in pictures, but when you're up close and personal with it you really see how much you can fit! What I like is it's not TOO big, but big enough to bring a laptop, change of clothes (for us bike commuters) and lunch without feeling at all bulky!
Works Well
Like the way the top rolls shut like a sandwich bag. Keeps it all dry inside. It's a muck boot except you can put a lot of stuff in it and carry it on your back. I also have some Chrome bike shoes. All their stuff is good.
Fantastic bag, but only 3 compartments
After about three months of using this bag on a daily basis, I love it and would definitely recommend it. The stylish look and water-resistance made the investment well worth it for me to as my new commuter bag for work in the Pacific Northwest. It's comfortable, with well-designed, sturdy shoulder straps and an overall rugged exterior. I also like the large side-zipper opening for storage, and it's the main compartment I use due to quicker access. The top flap is well-constructed with the outer hook, Velcro, and rolled design to secure it soundly in place. However, it does feel a bit tedious accessing it at times due to those three steps to open it versus one zipper on the side. The front pocket is surprisingly large and has an almost equal amount of space above the zipper as it does below it. That's where I store my smaller items, like my keys, wallet, knife, lip balm, and sunglasses, but without any type of organizational elements in that pocket, it can feel a bit clustered and jumbled. The minimal amount of storage options is the biggest and only negative part of this bag in my opinion. Effectively, there are only three compartments: the front zipper pocket, the top flap to access the internal waterproof bag, and the side zipper to access the rest of the inside of the bag. I definitely think it would benefit from an additional pocket for smaller items. I purchased an electronics/small items rolled organizer to help resolve this issue. Overall, it's a not a huge complaint for a great bag, but it's the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
