I was upset with this armband. I thought that the strap was sized only for people with bodybuilder biceps, as other reviewers mentioned. Then, I noticed two, small pieces of velcro on the inside of the holder, where the strap goes into the fabric... Eureka!! With those velcro tabs released, the strap became adjustable and I could slide the plastic ring toward the holder, effectively making the strap “shorter!” Now I love this armband. It fits snugly with much less floppiness!! Perfect!!

do NOT buy this band

I’ve had two of these armbands and both have failed. The first one I had issues where no matter how I arranged the band, it rubbed the inside of my arm and left red marks. I bought the second in a rush before a race as it was the only option at that REI location (hoping the first was just a lemon) and at first it fit better. But after a few months the Velcro lost its adhesion and the armband started falling off mid run. Eventually it had the same fate as the first band where the zipper broke apart. If I could return both, I would.

Great for biking!

Best use: biking. PROs: I can securely attach this to my handlebars when biking so the screen is always visible. Armband accommodates Otter Box iPhone 6 case with earphones. Touch screen functions fine. Extra pocket for ID, money, energy gel, etc. CON; not waterproof/water resistant (and not marketed as such) but I would trust it in light rain. I bought this armband for my smartphone when running. I have slim/petite arms so the phone flops around which is annoying (to me) but has nothing to do with the case itself. Good quality construction, seems like it will hold up under heavy use.

Sturdy construction and good design except...

My only problem with this item is that the strap is too long or, to put it another way, the "hook" portion of Velcro is too short. Since I'm not built like Arnold Schwarzenegger, by the time the strap gets around my arm, the end of the strap with Velcro barely makes contact with the other piece of Velcro. My solution, short of returning the item which I was reluctant to do, was to attach another piece of Velcro behind the original which solved the problem. Another solution would have been to shorten the strap but mine was easier.

Very happy

I have been a dedicated user of armbands for years, I used Belkins because they were good and I got a discount, then highly rated, cheaper armbands from Amazon. They were fine for the short time they lasted, but pretty much a waste of money, then I found these and they are by far the best of the bunch, reliable, sturdy, and the velcro seems to never wear out, my go to from now on.

Has to be just right

This has to be set up exactly right otherwise if you're wearing a short sleeve shirt the velcro will rub against your arm. It also has to be tightened just right, if it's too tight it will cut off circulation and if it's too loose you spend some time messing with it. Fits my iphone 6s and keys comfortably. It's perfect with a long sleeve shirt or light jacket.

A Smaller Armband!

Finally - an armband holder that's small enough for my bicep! Holds my phone in place well and I love the extra pockets on it for my car keys and/or cc's

Does not adjust well for small arms.

Appears to be a well made product and came in a timely manner. Adjusted the strap as small as it would go then tightened it snugly, but it would loosen and slide on my arm as I ran. I am returning.

Practical and comfortable running necessity

Sleeve fits an IPhone 10 perfectly. Adjustable strap fits snug without being tight, and once placed on the arm, the rig stays put. Rainproof and the clear plastic is flexible even in colder weather. Good quality fabric can be rinsed after each run and air dried to combat sweat in hot weather.

Very easy to use!

I love this because it's really easy to push the iPhone screen through the window. It's very lightweight and comfortable. I'm not sure if it would be good for someone with very thin arms, though. My arms are small-ish (but not super thin) and I have to pull the velcro almost to the end.
