Proven Performance
I've taken over 65 trips into the Boundary Waters/Quetico wilderness, and the Granite Gear Quetico Portage Pack is hands down the best pack I’ve used. Granite Gear offers bigger sizes, but after years of experience, I've learned to only bring what I need and this size works well for me. The hip belt distributes the weight evenly, reducing pressure on your shoulders during those long portages. The shoulder straps are well padded with nice load adjusters. The padded back also adds a little extra touch of comfort. In addition, the large front packet is great for stuffing loose items like rain gear, maps, etc. during the portage but still having them readily accessible when needed. The materials used are high quality and have held up over years of trips. I highly recommend this pack for anyone looking for a comfortable, durable pack for their canoeing adventures.
