Great alternative to expensive custom frame bags.
I really like this affordable bag. I have it mounted on a large framed gravel bike and it fits beautifully and is very stable. I like that I have a deep pocket on one side (spare tube, tools, long sleeved jersey, energy bars, pump) and a slim pocket on the other side (wallet, phone, contact info, power brick, etc) When I overstuff it, my knobbly knees lightly brush against it when I pedal, but that's on me. If I stuff it full (not overstuff) it works perfectly.
Top Notch quality and easy install!!!
Bought this for my cyclocross because it doesnt have any attachments for front or rear racks so what I have on there is not that secure and was sort of custom made by me to work. I can not put too much weight on the panniers so this is perfect to take the weight off the rear. I ride about a 61cm frame and this is the Large bag so you can see that there is just enough space to still use the water bottles. If I had a smaller frame I think this bag might be too large but who knows. Straps are great and soft so as not to scratch the paint. Check on youtube, there are a couple good video reviews and that pretty much sold me on this.
Nice bag!
Bag works great. Really enjoy not wearing a pack, especially between seasons when you need to bring or shed extra clothing. Easy access and easy to keep an eye on compared to a seat pack when stowing valuables. Holds more than expected too.
Strong Carryall Frame Bag
Regardless if you’re bikepacking or just like carrying extra snacks, this is a great bag. I’ve had it on my gravel bike for the past few weeks and it hasn’t left. Plenty of room for my phone, small camera, pump, tools, food, battery pack, cables, gloves, vest and more. I don’t like carrying a lot on me when riding on the road so this is a great option. The construction is strong with tough zippers. Attached quick and easy to my bike without issue. There is a pass-through opening on the front for a hydration line or device cables. If you are tired of over stuffing your pockets, check this out.
Excellent bag. Paired it with a CamelBak bladder
I needed a solution for a long bike trip. I already own panniers and while my buddies setup looks good we are not quite at the ultralight stage yet. He had the frame bag that filled the cavity but I didnt need that and didnt want to sacrifice my bottle cages. So I got the medium which fits well on my bike and I bought a CamelBak 90382 Mg Long Neck Reservoir, 70 oz/2.0L for it which fits great and I think I can still get tent poles in there if not too long. I compared this bladder to the platypus and it made that one look cheap. Also the tube is insulated which is a big plus and it looks and feels very durable. Its an expensive item but not having to lug all that extra water in the panniers reduces my weight and therefore drag and effort. Ill follow up post 10 day trip to let you all know how it worked out. It's about perfect!
I've had this bag for about 5 months. Really love it. Holds a LOT. The previous reviewer gave great details about what can go in the right side and left side so I won't comment about that. I have it mounted on a "home build" / do it all bike. This bike does grocery store runs as well as long-ish rides as well commutes so i wanted a bag that can handle everything and it does it very well. Best part is that everything is within easy reach of this bag. Nice to reach food, easily while riding. Just one issue (resolved). My bike is a 54 in frame with a fairly small triangle so the bag interfered with my water bottles. I did a google search for "adjustable water bottle cages" and bought a couple that lowered the height of the cages just enough. However, The seat tube bottle cage still touches the underside of the bag, and that's fine because of my work around (transfer seat tube bottle water to downtube bottle).
It leaked but...
Bought this for a traditional triangle Titanium road/gravel 58cm frame. Fits well if ever so slightly short. Good access to bottle cages. Took on The Japanese Odyssey 19 in Typhoon conditions and got to report this bag was the weak link in my Relevate Design bikepack system. Where as other components stayed water tight in torrential conditions this one leaked. Not much but enough to have to ziplock bag protect items within. Perhaps this is just a one off flaw, I’m a huge fan of the company and realize that even the best can run into conditions over and beyond. Still, happy to have this for its ease of use and stellar frame compatibility.
Great for riding with the kiddo
Perfect for long days for me and rides with the kids. Fits enough snacks and diapers for a long outing and then some. Check your bottle and cage clearances but this bag leaves plenty of room for 2 bottles on a large frame. Product size guide is spot on.
revelate delivers
bought this bag for first bikepacking attempt and it performed flawlessly. i had tried the medium bag but opted for the large since it could easily accept my tent poles and lots of other gear. it survived a 3 hour downpour and kept all content bone dry. i'll buy it again if this one ever wears out.
Great access, not waterproof
I know, it only claims to be water-resistant. But after a long day of rain, the bag retained a pool of water at the base. Would be great if there was a little drain grommet at the bottom. Otherwise, great bag, fits all the essentials for a bikepacking trip. I was able to stuff a pair of gloves, hat, wind shell, and various sunscreens/chamois/bug sprays and snacks.
