Outstanding warm hat. Protects: sun, wind and rain
Absolute game-changer. I can now comfortably walk on a windy bluff overlooking the ocean. The integrated masked keeps me warm. Howzabout more colors, pretty please.

Comfortable and warm, not perfect
Reviewer is 6-feet tall and average sized all around, including my head (though I had to order a size XL to fit my 7 5/8" diameter hat size.) The exterior material is smooth, ultralight 30D Pertex® Endurance fabric that keeps out the wind and provides decent water-proofing. The lining is incredibly soft and warm Posh Pile™ fleece that really helps insulate and keep in warmth (even when standing around in sub-zero Alaska winter weather.) One of the long fleece-lined earflaps features a built-in zip-out face covering to add even more warmth and cold protection, though it creates a slight bulge in the ear flap (when not in-use) that some folks may find annoying. There's also an insulated foam brim that can be worn down (baseball cap style) to help shelter your eyes or popped up for greater visibility, and an adjustable drawcord in the back of the hat to help cinch down the hat grip on your head. The earflaps connect via Velcro to give your chin (under chin?) some warmth and protection too, though I find the Velcro likes to grab the hood or collar of whatever jacket I'm wearing (and can be little annoying.) Overall, this is an incredibly warm and stylish hat that I would definitely recommend, even with the mild annoyances.

Fits properly, easy to fasten. Light weight, warm.
Big flaw with the Velcro design
The hat is warm, do feel it’s running a size smaller than normal. The part I hate about this hat is the velcro. It keep catching on my clothes. Afraid this will ruin my clothes in the long run. Very ignoring Velcro. In the border line of returning it or remove the Velcro myself.
Great headgear
This is a great headgear. I bought it for those cold, windy days. It is perfect! But I would appreciate a bill that will actually keep my eyes shaded.
