Good all purpose helmet.
I have found that getting a comfortable fit can really vary from style to style even from the same company. There are lighter, but more expensive helmets. I got this for commuter riding. The second time I wore it I was in an accident. The helmet shows no signs of damage and neither did my head. Isn't that why we wear these?
Comfy, but odd decoration on back
It's a comfortable helmet for a reasonable price, but REI should include one more photo of the rear view of these helmets. The titanium one has a very strange blue segment that says "back yard barbeques" on it! Maybe some women would like this, but I did not, and returned the helmet. There is a men's version of this same helmet called the Savant, and it does not have any unexpected decorations in the back!

I like this helmet a lot: well ventilated, nice padding (can be detached: nice feature). The only negative is that adjusting the strap is a tad tedious.
Disappointing
When I got this helmet, REI did not have many helmets in stock. I went for the Giro because it was the same brand i had before. In the end, I tried on a friend's helmet from a competing manufacturer and found it to be tremendously more comfortable - and when i thought about it, my last Giro was uncomfortable too. Guess i thought all helmets were uncomfortable, until I tried the Bell...
