Oh So Comfy

These shorts made my rear end really happy. They are a very durable and breathable quick dry material and the padding is in just the right spot. I did find that I was a bit suprosed by the roominess of the fit. I ordered the XL being that I wear size 40 pants/shorts and found that they are a bit on the loose side int h waist. They do have elastic straps that can be tightened and velcroed into place to adust the waist, but there is not enought adjustment there for me. However, I think a size L would hav ebeen a bit too small. The shorts are quite comfortable though and show no signs that you have a padded groin area. They look like regular shorts on the body and I look forward to riding a lot more with them.

Good shorts, pleased with them

like Zoolander, these shorts are "really , really good looking". Great pockets. For the 99% of us that aren't racing the Pyranese, ditch the spandex and get some. Great for road, trail and bike path. And you won't look like a dork when you stop to buy a gatorade. I have 2 suggestions though - take with a grain of salt because I totally disregarded the size chart I got an L out of habit (I'm 6'0, 33" waist). I prob should have got an M. That being said, the L's work for me and fit everywhere but the waist, but an internal belt or belt loops would give them a wider fit range. Also I find the pad pretty darn bulky, definitely bigger than what you see in spandex road shorts. Again probably my fault for buying too big. Hopefully it will compress a bit.

Great Pair

I love these shorts. I have a 33 waist and ordered the medium suggested by other reviewers. Fits perfectly. I was almost finished with my mountain bike ride before I realized I did not adjust the shorts even once on the ride. I didn't even shift in my seat. I forgot all about the new shorts I was testing. This is how it should be. They are soft and absorbent. I like them so much, I am going to try and stick with this brand since they seem to fit me well. The price was pretty good too. I highly recommend these shorts.

Excellent Shorts

I've been using these shorts now for a couple of years for my daily commute to work, (and sometimes further afield), and they have proven themselves to be a very worthy investment during that time. The compression layer does a wonderful job of creating a flat surface with no "bunching", (of course you wear them "commando" style), and have plenty of absorbency to keep from chaffing. They look good, in fact just like ordinary crew pants, so stopping off at a store shouldn't be an ordeal :). All in all recommended.

Best bike shorts

Best bike shorts I've owned. I've tried a few different baggy shorts, including Pearl Izumi, that weren't as comfortable as these. The sewn-in inner short stays put without feeling too tight, unlike those removable inner shorts that bunch up when you ride. The outer material is just the right combination of form-fitting and loose, and would make these shorts fine for longer rides.

Nice Shorts!

These are great shorts. I found the padding to be very good. The fit is a bit snug (I wear the large) but not enough to stress over. I really like the dual cargo pockets with zippers since I like to carry phone, keys, wallet, etc. after parking the car somewhere neat to ride. Light and comfortable.

Comfortable

These are very comfortable shorts. The chamois is good and doesn't bother me at all. Like the zippered pockets and they are big enough for a smartphone which I like because I don't like carrying it in a backpack or saddlebag. The material is comfortable and breathable. Overall, a nice short.

Amazing! Buy them. You won't regret it

While these are more expensive than some other mountain cycling shorts in the category, they are worth it. Perfect sized pockets with zippers. Integrated padding. Super comfortable. Very stylish. I tried two other types and these were the best. Worth the extra $20 or so.
