Great Fit pants with soft feel
These are a great boys pants. My son put them on and has not taken them off. Went back to REI to pick up another style. True to size and an easy adjustable waist band for size slim. The button closers on the pants are not as handy or secure as a zip or velcro but all in all the multi use-short/pants option is like buying one item and getting a bonus. Light weight for travel too.
Fabulous kids pants
These pants are the longest wearing, most durable pants my rowdy, rough and tumble six year old has ever worn. I only wish they were made in more than the three colors offered. He has all three colors and they go with everything! One of the pairs had a faulty adjustable waist [...]I've got a new pair of pants on the way. Every real boy should wear these great pants!
Great for active boys
I picked two pairs of these for each of my two boys, aged 4 and 8. Initially, I thought the pants would be more for casual play, but they surprised me. My sons are very active and go through gear in the blink of an eye. We do a lot of hiking in the mountains of Norway and these pants worked in most conditions. We brought them on a camping trip above the tree line (two days in a tent) and used them in rainy conditions and under the bright midsummer sun. When it got too hot, we simply turned them into shorts -- a great feature. Combined with long underwear and raingear, they were perfect for hiking and alpine play. Granted, they get soaked quickly. But they also dry quickly. So far, they seem very durable, after one month of sliding on rocks and gravel, skipping through brush, etc., pretty much day after day. I can highly recommend these pants for spring, summer and fall, as long as you also have the appropriate layers for harsher conditions.
Great boys pants
Great fit. Button adjustments at waist allow for slim fit. We use these as both pants and shorts. Very versatile. Wears extremely well. Looks cool like Daddy.
