Great Set of Brushes for Your Bike

This set of brushes really cover everything you will need for cleaning your bike top to bottom. For everyone that is wondering what all these brushes are for. Here is how they should be used: 1) The big soft bristle brush: This is the one that looks like a small version of what you would have in your house to sweep things into a dustpan. It is the biggest brush in the set. This has very soft bristles and won't scratch paint or carbon fiber. So this is good for wiping down the frame of your bike, handlebars, etc. Spray some cleaner on (like Muc-Off) and then use this brush to lather it up and spread it around. Then rinse off. 2) The long bent brush: This is the one that has a brush that is sort of oval in shape. This brush is AMAZING at cleaning spokes. You can easily twist it to get around the entire spoke. You can use it on your rims and it is good on hoses too. 3) The big paintbrush: This is the one that looks like a big artists paintbrush. These have stiffer bristles and are really good for cleaning sprockets/ cassettes and even the chain. I recommend putting this at the back end of your cassette and spinning the pedals to rotate the cassette. It should clean out lots of major gunk. It can also be used on the front crank. 4) The twisted pipecleaner: This one is a wire brush that has a loop wire circle loop at the end of the handle. The brush is very stiff bristled that are narrow and twisted in pattern. This brush gets into things like derailleurs really well. If you have a front derailleur (like a road bike), this is one of the only brushes that can get up behind and inside of it. It can get into any deep crevices. You can simply twist the brush once you are in a tight area to start scrubbing stuff down from the inside. Its a good one to have. On mountain bikes this is really good for cleaning the gunk that gets on the outside of the bottom bracket. This brush can get between the crank and the bottom bracket and clean it up like new. And if you ride your MTB hard, then you know that a ton of dirt, grime, and mud that gets stuck in there. 5) The toothbrush: This has the stiffest bristles of everything. It is literally a large toothbrush. I use it the least, but it is good to have when you need it. Because of the stiff bristles, it is really good and cleaning stubborn gunk that won't come off otherwise. It also can scrub off greasy areas because the bristles don't absorb water at all. I also use it to clean deep inbetween the gears on the cassette. It is just a detailing brush. So if there is anything that the other brushes can't scrub away, then you turn to this brush. Like I said, I only use it "as needed", so it doesn't get used the most. But when you need it, you are glad to have it. Overall this set is a great deal at this price. I do a basic clean after every ride by just spraying on Muc-Off an rinsing the bike down. But I use these brushes to do a deep clean of my bike about once a week in heavy mountain bike season. My road bike I clean about once a month or before a race. These brushes are good. With that frequent of use, I can get about 2 full seasons out of them. Eventually like any brush, the bristles will wear out and you replace them. But at this price, who cares. And two seasons of nearly weekly cleaning is impressive durability.

Nice Quality Set with all you need

This package has all you need to scrub down a dirty bike except for the chain specific tool. The bristles are strong enough to do the job, but gentle enough not to scratch the paint.

Great large brush

I've received used versions of other cycling cleaning brush sets and this one is my favorite because it has the big wide brush with many bristles. If I could add something to this set it would be a large yellow boxy sponge. The little bottle brush is also a solid addition. No complaints. I don't find I use the U-shaped brush or the paintbrush looking one as much.

Good quality set

I've always used rags but wanted something more pro. A few of them double as car detailing tools.
