I have been trying different brands of underwear for several years now. I have been looking for underwear that don't ride up, don't grate on my waist, breath well, are light and easy to hand wash and dry quick and are soft enough to sleep in. These are the needs for doing long hikes like the many Camino de Santiago routes. I bought two pair of the elevate boxer briefs, the number needed for the long hikes, so one could be orn while the other dries. These briefs have performed better than all the others I have so far tried and so good in fact that I will make these my daily briefs.
No Fly
Similar to another review posted, I also bought 3-5 pairs of these boxers, and the description does not clearly state there is no fly on these. I’ve previously purchased FF boxers (which had a fly), so I assumed this other sku had a fly bc the description did not state otherwise. Needless to say, I’m disappointed with the product and the company for not making this known. (Also, the company’s response to the other review is unacceptable. Fix the description and make it right. This is clearly not the first time this has happened).
outstanding - i've ordered 4 pairs
I'm a grown up. I should be wearing grown up things. Instead, I find myself sadly browsing my own underwear drawer and picking through it to find the two pairs of free fly boxer briefs I ordered last year. I do my laundry promptly to get them back in there clean.So a few weeks ago, I stopped griping and came back to the website. I ordered 4 pairs to make it 6. I am now mostly covered (see what i did there?) for the week - even if I am slow to do laundry.
Great boxers
These are the most comfortable boxer briefs. I barely notice I'm wearing them as I am working or hiking or traveling. They are a better fit than the bamboo ones that I bought. I just wish they were bamboo! The reason I bought Freefly was to get away from synthetics and cotton. The bamboo boxers have a wedgie effect and are kind of annoying, yet a very nice material. These fit perfectly. I just wish they were bamboo.
Great Boxer
The boxers are near perfect. The length is perfect. The waistband is larger than other competitors which keep the boxers from providing an excessive amount of non-desirable tightness around the waist. The draw back is no opening, the other boxers in the lineup with the opening are too long and too much extra material.

Just got three pairs of Men’s Elevate Boxer Briefs. I’ve been wearing Free Fly Boxer Briefs for 10+ years and have always been 100% satisfied! The new style boxer briefs wear well but I’ve noticed the top half of the waist tends to roll over. I think I’ll stick with the Bamboo Motion Boxer Briefs!
Elevate Brief
The cut of this boxer brief was pretty disappointing. Quality of the fabric was excellent but the brief was not comfortable 'where it counts.' I have other free fly apparel that I like very much but these definitely missed the mark and I actually don't wear them as a result.
Great support while feeling like you have nothing on, at all
I have been a FreeFly customer for at least 6 years. I love everything they produce. The Elevate Boxer Brief is the lightest and most comfortable boxer brief I have ever worn. The boxer brief is good to wear whenever ... with shorts, slacks, hiking, dining, sleeping, etc
Needs improvement
I love the feel of these boxer briefs. They are cooling and really comfortable. However, the waistband folds. I want to wear these every day, but I won’t buy more until the waistband folding issue is resolved.
Very nice, but not quite perfect
Fabric and construction are both fantastic. Fit is very good overall, but the front provides less support than I've gotten accustomed to in some other brands. I don't like that loose feel in front.
