Big sound in a small package
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got to try my new JBL Vibe Beam 2 earbuds and I can say I definitely will use these more on my adventures. They are everything you’d expect and trust from JBL. JBL Vibe Beam 2 are comfortable for me to wear and were easy to setup. Sound quality is good for everyday use to listen to music and make calls. I like the ease of using the JBL app to control sounds and customize earbuds to your liking. I can’t wait to use on my upcoming air travel to see how they work in air with noise cancelling. They have great run time and charge quicker for ease of use on the go. JBL Vibe Beam 2 Will be my go to earbuds from now on.
Great wireless earbuds
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I noticed was the solid build quality of the case and earbuds. I downloaded the JBL headphones app before pairing them to my IPhone. The app allows you really customize the sound. I did not care for the default studio sound. The app let me pick from several sound profiles or make my own custom settings. Once I customized the sound the earbuds really came alive. They sounded great no matter what type of music I was playing.I used these at work and sitting at my kids sports. They never got uncomfortable and the noise canceling worked very well. I would highly recommend these to anyone. I have many products from JBL because of their quality and great sound.
Great choice for budget conscious
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Would rate these as a 4.5 if it was possible. The JBL Vibe Beam 2s are a great choice if you are on a budget and want very good noise cancelling and decent sound quality. I have several pairs of JBL earbuds and while these don't have the audio performance of the JBL Live Pro2, they have decent audio quality but almost on-par noise cancelling. For the price of these earbuds the noise cancelling is phenomenal. The audio is very good, has less bass than the higher end buds, but if you accept what you pay for these are a very good choice.
Vibe Buds 2
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Vibe Buds 2 are comfortable and fit really well. I had no issues with these buds falling out at the gym, which is great. The sound is also clear and crisp for these little buds. The issues I had were with the case. Without a lid, the charging case accumulated lint in my pocket. I also had a hard time reading the 'R' and 'L' markings in certain light. The markings are small on the buds too, so I found it a bit annoying that I could never get the buds back in the correct slot on the first attempt.
Thanks for your feedback on our JBL Vibe Buds. The open case is intentional to make it easier to grab and use on the go. This design allows for quick retrieval and placement without needing to fumble with a lid. However, we understand that lint can be a concern, and we appreciate your insight. As for the 'R' and 'L' markings, we strive to keep the buds sleek and lightweight while still providing necessary indicators. We'll take your comments into account and pass it along with our development team.
… JBL VIBE BUDS 2 …
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] .. I just got these Headphones ( Earbuds ) few days ago , i have used them few times already , doing chores , cleaning / organizing around the house and while relaxing , so far Wow , i am very surprised by the way they Sound , the high and mid sounds are good ( above average ) and the bass they produce is great , I would say over all the sound they have is Great… The size - in my opinion they have almost the perfect fit … the Case has no lid on it , that is making me think if I will loose them , the Magnets that are holding them in place to charge are pretty strong , I tried shaking the case face down few times and they stay put in their case. The Battery - the life of the battery is pretty good around 10 Hrs on the earbuds , plus another 30 Hrs from the case. Another thing I like about them is that with the JBL Headphones App You can customize the sound to your preference… I also Noticed that now JBL has added 5 Ambient sounds in to the App to be able to use as well. ( Great Idea )..
JBL Vibe Beam 2 now with active noise canceling
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Vibe Beam 2 are great earbuds. The sound quality is well balanced and can produce crisp highs, clear vocals and deep bass. They offer an impressive bang for your buck value with a ton of features via JBL Headphones app which is available for IOS and Android. Call quality is loud and clear. I called my wife who said she would rate the call quality an 8 out of 10. The ANC does a good job at eliminating ambient noise. The ambient aware feature is very important should you need to hear your surroundings. Touch gestures can be customized for each earbud individually. The relax sound feature is great for listening to nature like sounds. The eq is a must as you can tune in the way you like to hear your music. Find my buds is very useful should you misplace the earbuds. The app warns you to make sure to remove the earbuds as the tone emitted is very loud. For being budget-friendly, they have a plethora of features. I highly recommend these for budget conscious shoppers. Here are some of the options for each feature: Ambient Sound Control: Active Noise Cancellation, Ambient Aware, Talk Thru. Smart Audio & Video: Automatically adjusts between Audio Mode and Video Mode. Gestures: Customizable gesture control for left and right earbuds. EQ: 10-band customizable EQ as well as customizable factory presets. Left/Right Sound Balance: Adjust left and right balance. Max Volume Limiter: Adjust the limit of the maximum volume. Voice Aware: Control the volume you hear of your own voice during phone calls. Relax Sound: Offers 5 preset ambient sounds like ocean waves, night critters, fireplace crackles, birds chirping and river water running. Find My Buds: Plays a loud tone to each individual earbud. Power Saving: Auto Standby and Auto Power Off, 30 min, 1 hour, 2 hours. Pros: Affordable, sound quality, noise canceling, ambient aware, custom eq settings, battery life, Cons: Could be a bit louder (perhaps an update fix)
JBL Vibe Beam 2 - Packs a Punch! 🎧🎵🎶🎼💪
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [This review is for the JBL Vibe Beam 2, per agreement with the organizer Bizarre Voice due to a fulfillment issue that sent me this product instead of the original offer/request of JBL Vibe Buds 2.] These JBL Vibe Beam 2 earbuds are small but offer some great functionality along with decent sound. The case itself is small enough to fit in one's pocket. Here are my thoughts on topics I find important: SOUND These didn't sound so great straight out of the box with a flat & balanced sound with barely any bass & very low volume at 50%. Fortunately, this is compatible with the JBL app where you can customize your equalizer preferences to arrive at a decent amount of bass, mids, & treble to fit your liking. The ANC is functional & does its job but not strong enough to block out public train noise or street traffic. FIT I believe these were designed for people with smaller ear canals, as these Beam 2s don't really passively noise isolate for me well, even after I use the size large silicone eartips when I normally fit size medium silicone eartips just fine. Therefore, I need to increase the volume a notch or 2 to drown out my surroundings while at the gym or out cycling. I do like the fit though, as they appear very low profile & not stick out horizontally like *Frankenstein* buds! BATTERY LIFE These can run for hours per charge as-advertised, as I've been able to test them to the distance. Thankful for long battery life! BLUETOOTH CONNECTION These are great & you can walk away a decent distance from the audio source, even between walls, & still stay connected! LATENCY Via the app, there's an option to minimize latency or lag time while watching videos & live content, but this makes me wonder why wouldn't latency already be minimal to none like other earbuds I own straight out of the box. Therefore, there's a fair amount of latency until you adjust the setting in the app. Overall, these are great mid-tier budget earbuds that don't break the bank. While we all have different sized ears, I feel these will fit people with smaller ear canals for a better passive noise-isolating fit coupled with the ANC function to really block out external noise.
A listening pleasure
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been enjoying the new JBL VibeBeam 2 earbuds since I got them a few days ago. I’ve had them in for two and a half hours or more every day and they are incredibly comfortable. I wore them while vacuuming and they stayed in their proper position the entire time. I wore them while working out and found that I would occasionally have to reposition them for optimum sound, but again, I was working out and moving quite a bit. They were always secure, just needed minor adjustments in my ears. The sound quality was what I have come to expect from JBL, clear with good bass. Experimenting with the app, I was able to equalize the sound to my personal preference, see pic. If you’re looking for new air buds, give them a try. You will be glad you did.
Petite but weird fit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] JBL Vibe Beam 2 review (ear buds) These earbuds are super lightweight and portable, the sound quality is good (consistent with JBL quality). The carrying case doesn't have a top/cover, so I'd imagine it would collect dust/lint over time. For some reason I have a really hard time finding the right fit for these ear buds. The "R" and "L" labels on them are super hard to read, and it feels like either ear buds can fit into either ear and can be twisted into place. They snap into the case magnetically, into each piece's dedicated spot (can't put the right one into the left slot, and vice versa). While these ear buds are light and portable, my hair cover them up while they're in my ear and therefore making it hard to access them. They stay in my ears for the most part during my runs, but not the best fit no matter which size of the rubbers I tried, and when I have to twist an ear piece to secure it, I'd accidentallly tap and activate some kind of control instead; I imagine this might be an issue with someone with big fingers/hands. I guess JBL wants to make the ambinet aware feature is prominent so the default gesture for the left piece is ambient aware on/off and that for the right is for play control (pause/play), it's quite inconvenient to not be able to change the vol on the fly, and ambinet aware is not something that would require constant changing on the fly for me, so I changed the gesture to play control on the left and volume on the right through the phone app. The pairing is sometimes finicky, you tap twice and hold on one of the pieces to go into pairing mode, and doing the same gesture on the wrong piece would turn off the ear pieces, and the only way to turn them back on is to put them back into the case and take them out again, and it's another thing that would be inconvenient if I'm out on a run and don't have the case nearby. The ear pieces get charged inside the case, and the case itself can be charged. There are light indicators on the case to indicate charge level. I've had these ear pieces for about 2 weeks and haven't charged the case once, but I haven't been using the buds daily. These buds are so petite that they don't get snagged out of place by any clothing items nor do I have to be careful about not walking too close to things like the door frame (might sound silly, but I have done thath with my overhead headphones). I don't lose things easily, but these are so small that I am nervous that they will eventually get lost, so probably not a good choice for people prone to getting things lost.
Thanks for your feedback. To achieve the best secure fit, angle the ear tip slightly downward to make it easier to insert into your ear, then gently twist the earbud to fit it securely into the shape of your ear. Alternatively, you can try other ear tips from a third-party retailer that is compatible with our JBL Vibe Beam and will fit your ear. If you need further assistance, please contact us.
Great value and sound quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] New generation of quality sound, sleek look and sophistication. I was quite impressed with the light weight feel of these ear bud's not to metion the matt black finish. The comfort of not having them weigh your earlobes down is awesome. They have great noise canceling fearure and the sound quality is great. This is definitely one of my top choices.
