Great Headphones!

So the open fit 1’s were pretty great themselves. Open fit 2’s do sound better with clarity and a bit more bass. The 2’s are still comfortable as the 1’s. So the button has its pros and cons. Pro’s :easier to answer calls while wearing work gloves or a hoodie/beanie covering your ears. Cons in my opinion would be pushing the button while getting the earphones out of the case and/or hanging up calls while adjusting the earphones by accidentally pushing the button. But in my honest opinion still great headphones! Highly recommend.

All button configurations are not

All button configurations are not useful for me and the changes I want to make are unavailable currently. Hopefully they will add new app features allowing useful ones for me. I noticed regular additions and features gradually added over time for open run pro 1 and 2 so I remain optimistic. Battery levels shown for buds and case frequently glitches out (eg showing 70% while all components actually fully charged). I find myself swapping between my openrun pro 2 throughout work still trying to get a comparison. Im primarily listening to audiobooks and have yet to put the openfit 2 through my favorite music.

I’m still in the honeymoon

I’m still in the honeymoon phase but so far really enjoy these. It’s odd that I still keep trying to shove them in my ears like one is falling out ( something I have to do with my AirPods and other IEMs). I enjoy them for long hikes, bike riding and doing home projects. Sound is good, and pair easily but the only issue for me is they don’t seem to auto pair like AirPods. But honestly I have so many speakers, sonos, and headphones all vying for Bluetooth that it’s more my problem. Love the magnetic case and fast charging. Only time will tell if they stand the test of time but for now they have replaced most of my other sources.

Excellent version 2

Thanks for taking a good earphone and making it better! Better Control options (still can use some software polishing, like more customization options for buttons. ) Good size and weight, I forget I am wearing them. Very happy with the battery life extension, one thing I did not like about the previous model. Sound quality is also much better! I hope that they can do something about the extraction process out of the charging case. I like the design but, getting the earphones out of the case is a bit uncomfortable and they can easily be dropped at that time. Maybe adding a half moon finger opening around the head of the earbud?

The perfect Solution!

I tend to listen to music at high volumes, and these earbuds deliver without compromise. But finding the right fit has always been a challenge—my wrestling background and a condition called cauliflower ear make traditional earbuds impractical. The Shokz Openfit 2s solve that problem while providing the high-end sound quality I demand. They stay put and remain comfortable even during long listening sessions. Recently, while on a hike, I was struck by how immersive the experience was—hearing birds chirping in the forest alongside Stephen Wilson Jr’s vocals in songs like I’m a Song and Stand by Me truly elevated my listening experience. I highly recommend these earbuds.

Frankly, the best

I had two pairs of the wrap-around Shokz years ago, and then went with one of the over ear ones, all of which I really thought were terrific. When I lost one of the pieces though, I went astray and tried two different brands, trying to save a few bucks. I’m back now, and happily so. These really are the best for me. They not only stay securely on my ear, they are so comfortable I often just forget that I’m wearing them all day! Easy to use dual pair between my laptop and phone (essential for me). The sound is good, certainly more than sufficient for what I need, though can be hard to hear outside in the city, when I often need to turn the volume way up to compete with street sounds.

Perfect Upgrade from AfterShokz!

After four years of using AfterShokz bone conduction headphones, I decided to upgrade to the new open-ear design, and I couldn’t be happier! The sound quality is noticeably improved—crisp, clear, and well-balanced—while still allowing me to stay aware of my surroundings. The comfort level is outstanding. I could wear my old pair for hours, but these take it to the next level with an even lighter and more secure fit. The user-friendly controls make them super easy to use, and they stay in place perfectly during workouts or long hours of wear. If you’ve been a fan of AfterShokz, this upgrade is well worth it. The open-ear experience is a game-changer, and I highly recommend making the switch!

I need to dock a few points for battery life.

I don't know if it's just me. But I feel like hitting the buttons for anything absolutely drains the battery faster. I work an 8+ hour shift and I still need to stick these bad boys into the charger. These are my first pair and I honestly don't know if that's the norm. They sound great, up until the bass begins to tear through a bass heavy song. The sound quality is great and they take phone calls like a champ. They do take some getting used to wearing because oddly enough, they make my ears feel achy until I finally got used to wearing them. I'll keep buying these for the sound quality, but the battery usage for clicking to answer calls, pause/play or even change songs could be WAAAAY better.
