These are horrible socks. I guess the Second Cut version of the the classic hiking socks means poor quality. The fit is loose and the elastic around the top of the sock isn't snug enough to hold the sock in place, so it doesn't fall down. I wore them with rain boots and the socks had actually slipped all the way off inside the boot.

Great pair of socks for hiking. I wore these socks hiking around Milford PA checking out the numerous waterfalls during the summer. The socks provided comfortable cushioning and kept my feet dry while having a good sweat. I bought two pair to have one in the day pack as a back up. I will be buy more of the because they are a great sock.
