Doesn't hold MacBook, cheap straps
Product description claims this will hold a 17 inch laptop. I have verified that is completely false; it won't even hold my MacBook 16""—not even close. It barely holds my iPad Pro. While it does have two sleeves, theoretically, one for a laptop, and one for a tablet, there is no padding between the two sleeves, so you could have two devices potentially banging into each other. The straps are also very thin, I can see them becoming uncomfortable. For those that care, this is made in Vietnam. I returned. For a company that specializes in packs, this sure is a lackluster product.
My favourite Northface Surge needed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favourite Northface Surge needed a replacement so I looked for an alternative. I came across a YouTube video where a gentleman demonstrated the Proxima 30 and I immediately felt drawn to it. What I really like about the Proxima 30 is the lightweight build yet it’s sturdy. It has huge space inside and the design is elegant and minimalistic. The interior is well structured with useful pockets, but not too much. It has a great space for my laptop. The straps are well designed and it’s comfortable to carry. Furthermore, the padding allows a good ventilation as well.
Surprisingly great
Took a chance on this bag and do not regret it. If i had to say a con it would only be the zippers do not zip all the way unless you loosen the 2 straps or move the straps out of the way HOWEVER there is plenty room to access pockets without having to zip all the way down. Its held up in the rain ALL WEEK and has left the inside dry. Good organization without being too large. Water bottole pockets are deep and will hold your bottle (32 oz hydro) without falling out. There is a whistle! Overall very comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my daughter starting college in the fall. She has been using a Nebula for the past three years and although still loves that pack, saw this pack and liked it. She raves about it, it is as comfortable as the Nebula and has place for everything. I think she going to use both for her Vet Science studies, one for school and the other for time in animal studies. It is a high quality, well designed pack and comfortable to boot.
The side pockets are great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The side pockets are great for large water bottles. The laptop pocket is very functional- it’s a perfect fit and the cushion is much needed. It’s a little smaller than i imagined. I wish there was a clip somewhere to clip a lunchbox. The the zipper half way is hard to get large binders in quickly. It’s a little too pricy for what it is in my opinion.
PROXIMA 30 Backpack
OSPRAY PROXIMA 30 backpack I use for a EDC to work the pockets inside holds a lot of stuff I use the front straps to hold my jacket nicely in place the two side pockets holes my 25L water bottles Plus they a Bonus owning this backpack I use it as a travel bag on weekend trips & short day hike its a great around backpack I love it!!!
Bad experience
Do not buy if you expect rain or if you want to stand the backpack up vertically. All compartments allow rain inside, my contents are soaked after a couple of hours. Also, you cannot lean the bag against a wall without it slipping or falling over (never realized this was a priority until using this bag). Buying a new bag now...
Sturdy with plenty of packing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sturdy with plenty of packing space for a weekend trip. Cumbersome zippers that do not open all the way down. However, it can help deter stuff getting stolen by pickpockets. Beautiful color mixtures and different intricacies like the double drink holders (can carry a 32 Oz) or umbrella when traveling. Hope it will last long.
Perfect School Bag
I bought this for school (and travel because I commute to school on the weekends), and this bag is perfect. I can fit my laptop, a few VERY large textbooks, extra clothes, water bottle, umbrella, and more without any issue. The bag has a lot of give. It's attractive. It stays dry in light rain.
Really spacious pack with an
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really spacious pack with an awesome amount of different pockets and well thought out design features. The only downsides are that at 30l, a second chest/waist strap would be nice and that it is impossible to fully unzip the main compartment when the side straps are buckled.
