Great for young adults that do not like wearing coats

Great product. Keeps you warm in cold temps and looks stylish. It's hard to please my teens and convince them to wear their jackets and this coat is definitely doing the trick!

A step up for Coats

this coat is amazing. It keeps me warm and it is very comfortable. I wear this almost every day because it is a go to for comfort and for ease. this coat is very spacious as well, but not very bulky, which allows me to move around a lot more freely than other coats and also wear layers under the coat comfortably. I can also fit my Bible, which is kind of big in the inside pocket of the coat, which is very useful because a lot of coats don't have that. A feature I never knew I needed in a coat. Overall this coat is amazing, it has kept me warm in -10 degree weather. I would buy this as many times as I need.

I would 100% bye this again

I recently purchased this jacket and have been thoroughly impressed with its quality and performance. The build is excellent, providing durability and a snug fit that doesn't feel bulky. It's perfect for those looking for a sleek yet functional option. The warmth it offers is commendable, keeping out the chill effectively. However, for just $30 more, you can opt for the insulated version, which offers even more warmth for colder climates. Despite this, the jacket remains a fantastic choice, and I would recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable, stylish, and warm outer layer. Overall, it's a great buy and worth considering for your winter wardrobe.

Great for High School Kid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this coat for my son. He is in High School and can not fit in his coat from last year because he had grown taller and broader. He is about 5'7'' and has broad shoulders. The coat fits really well. Since he runs hot all the time, this coat is thin enough but also can keep him warm in NY winters. I suggested that IF he needs extra layers, he can wear a thinsulate vest underneath but that is up to him. He says that it is not bulky and can fit in his NF backpack. The hood sold me because he does not like other accessories. THIS KID IS EQUIPPED WITH NORTHFACE GEAR! Looks very stylish for a HS kid but also very mature. I got this in the blue. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend. It will be used for life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this jacket because I have always been a supporter of the brand. However, this was my first insulated Northface jacket that I purchased. It was great timing too because I was able to take it with me to the UK to visit family. Winters in the UK can be harsh but with this jack I was able to comfortably traverse around the city, through the countryside and out to coastline. It has been all that I have worn throughout my trip. That being said, it is a light and packable jacket that barely will add to the weight of your Northface suite case or backpack when traveling through airports. Also, if you are into style it is sleek and good for alternating with outfits.

Perfect Everyday Jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this jacket as a gift for my S/O, in the hopes that he would love it just as much as I love my North Face Nuptse 700 Jacket. Although this is a 550, it's still great. This jacket is perfect - it's not too thick but not to thin, keeps him very warm in the cold Bay Area winters and doesn't take up much room in the closet. One of my worries with it being a puffer jacket was that it could be very bulky and not convenient for storing or daily use. The elastic on the cuffs are perfect too because it feels more secure to the wrist, rather than most jackets which don't have the elastic and allow cold air to breeze in. The Aconcagua jacket is also super easy to clean; a great daily jacket.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The purchase exceeded my expectations. As for the size, it runs just right, my recommendation is that if you are going to wear other pieces inside (hoodie, swearshirt ect.) you should take it one size larger if you don't like it tight. It is a piece of excellent quality. north face never lets me down. highly recommended

Would absolutely recommend this jacket!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a medium for my son(6'1, 190lbs). He really likes it. Enough room to wear a hoodie or sweater underneath, but not too much. Perfect for the NYC winter. Only bummer was a few feathers were poking through the seams. Other than that, great jacket!
