Excellent for Running and Daily Wear

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] “Wow, these shoes are amazing!” That is what my husband said after his first time wearing them. No breaking in required, wear well right out of the box, and are super supportive. He has worn these for both running/exercising as well as daily activities. He loves the cushioning, toe box, and the overall sturdiness of the shoe. For a running shoe, these are incredibly light weight yet have a ton of support. Only concern is how long the tread well last as he is quite hard on shoes. Overall though this is an excellent shoe, with plenty of support for running, but comfortable enough for daily use. He says he would purchase again.

Great Shoes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a pair of Brooks Revel 8 about 3 weeks ago and have been loving them! I am a casual runner and have been using them pretty regularly with no discomfort. It normally takes me a couple of uses to break in new shoes, but these were perfect from the start! I really like the Revel 8 cushioning. It provided good arch support for running and also everyday wear. The shoe also has a nice mesh upper design. It has been extremely hot where I live, so the mesh has kept my feet cooler. Overall, I have really liked the Revel 8 and am excited to continue wearing them. The design of the shoe has been great for my casual running and daily use. I would highly recommend!

Brooks Sneaker Rule!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried a pair of Brooks Revel 8 sneakers and found them to be very comfortable, with great heel support that lived up tot my expectations. They're lightweight and stayed cool even on warm days. As a mid-strike runner, not a heel-strike runner, it took a little longer to get comfortable with the forward slant and padded heel of the Revel 8 shoes compared to flatter models. It's not a drawback, just something to get used to - overall, they're a solid choice for anyone looking for a reliable running shoe.

My new go to shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so excited to be reviewing the new Brooks Revel 8 shoe. I feel like as I've gotten older, my feet have gotten bigger and these fit great for size 13. It's nice being able to find a shoe big enough that also looks good. The grey color goes with almost everything and I really like how it looks on the foot. This is a sharp shoe. It's also super comfortable and I'm fine in it all day long, even wearing it to a theme park all day a few weeks ago. I highly recommend giving this a try. I think you'll like it too.

Comfortable for short or long use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wearing the Revel 8s for a couple of weeks and they've been a great addition. The design is simple and effective, just what I've come to expect from Brooks. They are snug but breathe really well, especially when I wear them for long periods (2+ hours). The sole is very comfortable and it takes a lot of stress off of my knees, making each step feel like a natural movement. Nothing is forced or requires extra effort. They're not my ideal running shoe since they're a little heavier than what I prefer but they have become a great pair to wear on casual walks or when I workout. Really glad to have another pair of Brooks in the closet!

Great and versatile Shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried these Brooks Revel 8 Shoes. Super lightweight and great fabric feel. They run small and slightly narrow, so I would for sure size up at least a full size. These Revel 8 shoes are geared toward running and at first they feel slightly off balance but once you walk in them you get use to the larger heel size and they feel great. Good arch support inside for those that need it. The fabric was easy to wipe off and keep clean. I like the high pull tab on the back of the shoe, which makes it easy to grab and slip your feet inside. Even though they are designed toward running these worked well outside on uneven gravel and dirt roads. I will for sure will be keeping these in my regular shoe line up.

Excellent Shoe

For me, an excellent shoe for quick pace walking: ample length, roomy toe box, snug comfortable fit and an 8 mm heel to toe drop that is my ideal drop. In my opinion, no drawbacks.

Good walking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes are comfortable, but do feel slightly smaller than my other Brooks in the same size. So for me, they are more of a casual/everyday/walking shoe instead of a training shoe. They have light to medium cushion and feel like they have good support. The color is very neutral so it goes with any outfit and doesn't clash. I haven't tried previous versions of the Revel, so I'm not sure how it compares to those. Overall I do like them and they will continue to be in my rotation.

Brooks Revel 8

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes worked out great for my husband. Immediately after putting them on he stated that not only do they run true to size, but also that they are lightweight and have excellent heel support. Finding good shoes for him is a battle because he has a fair amount of sciatica and plantar fasciitis. He also stated that they don't cause fatigue when standing for long periods of time like other shoes do. We both like the fact that they look great and could mesh well with either athletic clothing or casual clothing. He tried on a couple of different outfits and they fit great with the different styles, especially being a uniform gray color. He also stated that they are comfortable for long distances and the breathable fabric provides great ventilation. His remarks after initially trying them on were, "I liked the comfort the most. They are easy to take off and put on as well." The only negative comment he had was that he wishes there were more color choices that are neutral aside from gray / black. Highly recommended!

This is my 5th pair of Revels ranging from Revel 5’s to 7’s the Revel 8 runs smaller than the previous generations. The quality is standard for Brooks.
