So far the shoe feels good while wearing it and am still breaking it in. My biggest issue is the color of the shoes. Online this shoe looks like it has more red/warm undertones but once received, the colors are more muted and cooler, frankly more purple. I feel misled on my purchase and frustrated that I paid so much to not receive what I was expecting. The product image for this show should be updated to reflect the true coloring of the shoe.
I ordered online and picked up in store. I wear Hokas daily. Podiatrist recommended them for rocker base and cushioning. Hokas keep my foot pain manageable and I felt confident to start hiking. My foot size is about 8.75. I wear 9 in Rincon and Clifton. I ordered these in size 9.5. They felt like 9s, the toebox was much too narrow for hiking, considering my feet will swell. I considered keeping for spare daily use, but the tongue jabbed uncomfortably straight into the front of my ankle. Didn’t mind the color, it was a dusty rose/violet with the sole matching the shoe. Somewhat less jarring than usual Hoka color scheme. But the Keens I ordered as backup had a roomy toebox and more pronounced rocker base so I returned these Hokas.
Got it last month. I thought it was just on sale and didn’t realize I got it from REI Outlets until I saw a couple cosmetic defects by looking at it but tried get over with it. During break-in trial my left foot keeps on bothering me while the right side has no issue. I liked the shoe and hated to start all over again breaking in another new shoes. Regardless I changed socks even put a bandage on my pinky toe, it’s still hurting. Today I put both shoes on the table and seen left side was not sitting flat compared to the right side. I would definitely have to return this.
These shoes work great for my feet. I have multiple feet issues and they're comfortable and therapeutic.
I love Hokas for work as they keep my feet comfortable and me moving all day during a 12 hour shift at the hospital. When it was time to upgrade I was drawn to these for the step in and out feature and I have to tell you it’s AMAZING. It’s so nice to pop on and off outside my front door without having to bend down and touch my shoes from the hospital. 10/10 recommend. Also great for non hospital workers, elderly, etc that need easy on and off.
Great comfort for hiking shoes. Lighter than my regular hiking shoes. Good on trails, dirt and rocky trails.
