Super comfy and great quality!
Love this pack. It’s comfortable and spacious. Lots of neat features like the bottle pouch, organiser pocket and not having excess chest straps getting in the way make it perfect for commuting. Would have been nice to have a choice of more funky colours though! Highly recommended.
Wanted to like it, but couldn't
Upon looking at the backpack when it came in the mail, I was very disappointed in three things. One; the design of the water bottle holder. It does not open from the top which prevents you from putting a tall bottle in it. I also would have liked to see one on each side instead of just one. Two; lack of chest strap and waist strap. I understand that this is a school/book bag, but coming from Osprey I would expect at least a chest strap to make the bag more usable for a hike. Three; the laptop sleeve, while large enough, is only accessible from the side. This is more nitpicky but it still bothered me and seemed avoidable.
Really wanted to love it - major design flaw
I really wanted to love this backpack, but it has a major design flaw. The backpack straps are attached to another piece of fabric that stretches across the top of the bag, not directly to the bag itself. As a result, the extra fabric/straps dig into your neck and shoulders when empty and fully loaded. If you loosen the bag, the extra fabric will lay flat, but the back of the backpack itself doesn't lie against your back. Super disappointed. I'm a relatively lean person (5'10, 140lbs), so maybe someone with a bigger upper body wouldn't have this issue, but I don't understand why they didn't attach the straps directly to the bag like their other packs. Sending back.
Wanted to love it- returned immediately
I was so excited for this bag, and so much of it is so well designed, but the way the shoulder straps are designed it puts all the weight on the top of the shoulders/neck. The reason I bought this bag was to be able to lug around my computer, books, etc, but it is just not comfortable! Even empty, I could feel the bag pinching. No adjustment of the straps could fix it. So disappointed. Really really wanted to love it.
I am absolutely obsessed with
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am absolutely obsessed with this backpack. I love hour it keeps it form even when there isn’t smudging in it. I love how many compartments that it has throughout the pack. I have had the backpack for about a month and I have packed a lot in it and the quality of the the material makes it feel like everything is going to hold for a long time. The straps are the softest straps out of all my bags. Looking forward to this being my daily bag for years to come.
Great quality, wish the straps were a little longer.
Great pack, excellent quality as expected- but as a larger guy I wish the straps were a little longer because they're maxed out all the way, fully extended in length and it still rides a little high. So if you're a tall broader shouldered football player shaped guy, just be prepared. I use it for business travel, and its great since it's less outdoorsy looking than some other osprey packs, and better looking than most business-travel packs.
Perfect bag but not a true black
Love this bag! Perfect size as a daily carry backpack; sleek; doesn't stand out as being too outdoorsy - overall, it's a great alternative to carrying a purse. Plus, I am able to carry the essentials that are sometimes too large for a small sling. My only complaint is that the color is not black but more of a dusky, charcoal grey. If Osprey made it in "real" black, I would order a new bag!
Great backpack. In dark gray,
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great backpack. In dark gray, the bag is useful for both professional settings and casual use. It's been great for international and domestic trips, to be able to carry things through the airport and at client meetings/events. I really like the dedicated laptop compartment and the dual chambered design. It can carry a lot without looking like an oversized bag.
Lifesaver!!
Been on the hunt for a bag that’s big enough for my 15. 6 inch laptop, charging cables, mouse, headset plus lunch, plus change of clothes as I cycle in, plus other bits and bobs and this fits all that and then some! My commute has become so much easier and the bag itself is so stylish and subtle, doesn’t look that big and bulky despite the load!
I was looking for a
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a travel backpack. I have an osprey day pack and love it. This is the perfect size and has some great pockets! Was a good price too (love that about Osprey). The only thing that is a little tricky is the water bottle pocket. It only fits a very thin water bottle and isn’t super easy to get your water bottle in and out of.
