Perfect for Yosemite
I was amazed by the comfort of the Maipo Explorer while wearing them on the treadmill to see how well they would work at Yosemite and how well they worked at Yosemite! I wore them for three days straight in the water, flat surfaces, and rocky surfaces. They were great in all three environments! I chose them instead of Keen’s because the strap on the back of the Maipo’s had a little cushion that the Keen’s did not. The little cushion made a huge difference in my comfort! I don’t ever have this kind of luck with buying shoes, but this time, I did!

Uphill in Spain, both ways!
These shoes have climbed approximately 200 flights of stairs while exploring Bilbao and Ronda Spain. They are comfortable and offer great support. I’m so glad I chose these shoes to take on my trip.

Beautifully made and looking. I have worn them hiking and gotten caught in a down pour. I did not slip once on the rocks. I felt very stabe on them. I will be taking them on my Colorado River paddling trip

This shoe is a miss by Merrell.
I bought this shoe about 10 days ago. I have other Merrells and really like them. This shoe is a big miss for me. I wore them around the house and walked around in the backyard for a bit. My feet hurt, top to bottom. Even with just light wearing, the bottom is a white color. No way to clean and seek a return. I never realized that Merrell was not like Keen and gave an opportunity to make sure they fit properly and were going to work for the buyer. Buying online can be a challenge. Guess I’ll have to take the loss and go with the other brand as not to get stuck again.

Great shoe for the Galapagos
I took my Merrells to the Galapagos Islands. They were the perfect shoe. I was on a catamaran for the trip so there were a lot of wet landings on the islands. The shores were a mixture of sand, crushed shells and crushed lava so they were perfect to protect your feet. Most of the islands had rougher terrain to walk on including lava and rocks. They had excellent tread for that terrain. I wore them on 5 excursions a day for 8 days. I would highly recommend them!

Great warm weather shoe
I bought these about a month ago and have been wearing them pretty consistently. I even came back to buy another colorway that is on sale. I wish they came in a nice olive color, hint...hint... Lots of walking in these but I also wear them around town to run errands. I run hot especially in the summer so I like the open design but the foot is still protected.

Great all purpose shoe
This is a great all purpose shoe. wore it for 20,000 steps every day for a week in Costa Rica without any discomfort of any kind. They’re great to wear in the water and swim with because they are extremely light weight. Absolutely love these shoes bought a pair for everybody in my family and everybody loved them.

I bought these recently and love their stability...73 year old Grandmother who needs great shoes for keeping up! I had a very similar pair from Merill years ago for boating! Different adventures now, but always a great shoe from Merrill! Thank you for keeping me on my feet!
THEY HAVE GRIP - Wet Caves on the Ocean in PR
These things kept me safe while climbing through some ocean caves in Puerto Rico. Parts of the climb were wet and these shoes have so much grip I felt very sturdy. 10/10 hiking shoes for tropical climates. They dried very fast too after enduring tropical rain storms all day.

Too Much For City Wear
I really wanted to love these and wanted them to be an update to the Waterpro Pandi shoes I used to wear a lot. They may serve you well using outdoors, hiking, etc--but I wanted them for the city, parks, etc, and I though they were too heavy and too much shoe for that.
