Stylish rain coat

This is a great raincoat. The colour and style are lovely and different - it’s a little too large and floaty at the bottom, but otherwise very nice. The sleeves are a bit on the short side. The fabric is absolutely lovely and definitely good quality, it looks like it’s water resistant, however I haven’t yet tried it in the rain. It’s baggy, so I can wear a thick jumper on colder rainy days. However I would have liked a thicker inner lining. But they don’t seem to make thick raincoats anymore. So it’s great for rainy and windy weather, but not so great for cold weather, which is what we get most of the time in this country ;)

I’ve been looking at this coat for a while, but was worried the amount of material might drown me. With a 50% birthday voucher I took the plunge - going down a size based on the reviews. I am so glad I did! The colour is fabulous (green). I ordered an XS when normally I would be a S. I am 5’2’’ and often a 12 but that is to fit my chest, so otherwise a 10. This coat fits me perfectly. Room to layer but not bulky. It is long on me but I like the length. The sleeves as mentioned, would I feel be shorter on someone with bigger shoulders than mine, but they work well for me. All in all a fantastic coat that will be worn a lot. So far only in light rain but it was definitely waterproof

I bought several long coats from different places to try and find one that ticks all my boxes and this was the winner by far! It is perfect. Just the right length to sit down and not get a wet bum not too thick so as not to get all sweaty and it’s very flattering on. I bought a large instead of X-Large based on the reviews and it’s perfect (I’m currently a size 18). My only criticism is the hood is a little big, but on the plus side I wore a thick hoody underneath and it was all completely dry underneath hood and all. This was the most expensive of all the long coats I tried but with a discount code it was most definitely worth it!

I had one in blue which is A line so this new cinched in waist is an improvement. My blue one is covered in mud from dog walking so I decided to get the green to have a smart one for work. I have got my usual size but it's roomy enough to wear a suit jacket underneath comfortably. The sleeve length is fine but then I am not tall. Criticism - I was surprised that there wasn't a mesh panel at the back under the flap which would have made it breathable while still giving full waterproofing. Improvements - a chest height inside pocket would be good plus storm cuffs with thumb holes would be nice. In summary, elegant and waterproof.

Love love love! The green colour is so elegant and almost the new black you could say! I’m 5ft3 and a curvy size 14-16 at the moment. This raincoat in size medium fit perfectly giving a good fitted shape up top and roomy for my hips and butt below the waist. Protection from the rain is brilliant. I found the material also thick enough to trap heat when needed. So will be great in the cooler months. Hood has toggles to tighten so you don’t have to hold it in the windy rain. Was caught in the downpours we had this week and was a good test for this cost. Pleased to say the coat scored 10/10 for style and function! Buy it!

Fabulous coat - practical and stylish

Really love this coat. Long, lightweight and waterproof just what I wanted. The hood is a good size - big enough when hair is tied up but not too big so you can’t see! Love that it has 4 pockets. My only very minor negative would be (as other reviewers have said) the arms could do with being just a fraction longer. I bought XS, I’m 5ft 5 and 9 stone. Usually size 8-10 and wear a combination of XS and S in SB clothing. I also tried on S in this coat and although it still fitted ok it was obviously a much roomier fit and the lovely shape of the coat was lost. I would usually go for black or navy in a coat but the green was such a gorgeous colour I went for that instead.

Lovely coat but the elastic draw cord on the waistband is not continuous and is only held together by a thin piece of fabric. I do not think this will hold up to much use. Plus the join is on the visible side rather than in the back of the waistband. Therefore for the price had to return.

This is my second parka purchase I have this green and another beach orange one from Las season, there are no words this jacket is fabulous it will take u everywhere and an investments for lift I would say, I signed up for my Birthday 50% off and made the purchase for the second time waterproof swet proof great with a hoodie or a vest inside Irish weather doesn't be great so it's an all year round coat, size wise I am a size 12 and I went from a S as they are quite a large for and for example I were a M in the leggings so 100% I am not a small but in this parka a small is perfect.

I wanted a long, but not heavy waterproof coat for commuting and dog walking. But one that also looked stylish… this is it! I’m short at 5ft 1.5 inches, but this has so many details that you can pull in and tighten, that it worked perfectly and didn’t drown me. I love it!

I don't normally write reviews but I think this parka is so special I need share the love. I live in Scotland and needed something to wear to work, the gym, on dog walks, everything. This parka fits the bill. I've worn it twice and on both days I have stayed dry, looked smart enough for work and the hood stayed up!! I'm 5'10 and a broad shouldered size 12 and first bought the M, which fitted perfectly but was too short in the arms so I changed it for a L and it's perfect. The adjustable waist is a game changer. Well done Sweaty Betty this waterproof parka is an absolute winner!
