fantastic everyday

I have had many iterations of the Cormac shirt and I have enjoyed all of them. The Cormac is a classic Arcteryx tshirt that does everything I need it to and just a little more. I use it for almost everything in the summer from running, hiking to just getting yard work done. I bought this shirt originally as a quick dry hiking shirt but the UPF rating and the articulated fit defiantly have the Cormac stand apart from other quick dry options. My one complaint is the newer fit is a little loose and baggy compared to older models and I do miss the older fit. Other then that the Cormac is a fantastic summer active wear shirt that does it all.

Light, breathable and good for those warm days

This is my go to shirt if I know I'll be breaking a sweat. I've used this on the warmer days and the material is highly breathable and allows the breeze to cool me down - As expected. I don't have any issues with the material being smelly after a sweaty day. But just like any synthetic material, I'm only using this for the day. Fit is good across the chest, back and arm, although I do find this runs a bit long so something to keep in mind for the shorter torso person - I can see this being handy if you're worried about it riding up. Overall, great quality, high output shirt - very lightweight and great for those warmer days. Or in the gym.

Iconic

The Cormac SS tee is one of my most used pieces of kit. It's rare if I'm not wearing this on a trail run or backpacking trip. Truly the golden standard for a comfortable, well fitting technical tee. I like the new revised cut, it feels a little looser which I find helps it ventilate more on hard runs or hot hikes.

High performance with a minor flaw

The fabric is lightweight and soft. Definitely a tier above your standard performance t-shirts. Like the other reviews mentioned, the sleeves are slightly longer and I really enjoy that. It gives this shirt a slightly more casual look. The reason for the four stars and not five is because of the way it is cut. I climb in this shirt and when I raise my arms, the shirt goes up with them and also folds awkwardly around the chest area. I have to adjust it every time I bring my arms down. Apart from that, the moisture wicking and breathability is incredible. Unmatched in those areas

I love this shrit!

I recently had the pleasure of using an Arc'teryx T-shirt while bicycling, and it was an amazing experience. The fabric felt incredibly comfortable against my skin, providing a perfect balance of breathability and softness. Even during intense rides, the shirt managed to keep me cool and dry, which is a testament to its high-quality material and design. The fit was spot-on, allowing for unrestricted movement without feeling too tight or loose. I also appreciated the stylish look, which made it versatile enough to wear casually after my ride. Overall, I highly recommend the Arc'teryx T-shirt for anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable option for their cycling adventures. It's definitely worth the investment!

Wouldn’t risk it for the price

Second time wearing the shirt and it got a large and obvious pull/snag in the fabric. I was doing light chores around the house, not even outside. Arc’teryx told me that it wasn’t under warranty, so there was nothing they could do. That’s an expensive shirt that I now can’t wear out in public.

Weird new sizing system

I bought this t-shirt according to the new sizing chart (why go against everyone else's sizing). A 44 is now a large, not an XL like everyone else. But it isn't, or it didn't feel like it when on. Why confuse people with this new system? Actually a large is now a 43 and an xl is a 47 so the gap between them is now 4 inches as opposed to everyone else having a 2-inch gap. On top of it not fitting, it is super clingy so unless you have the flattest of flat bellies you might not be comfortable with it. I am a big fan of Arcteryx, but this weird new sizing system and the madness that is their colour descriptions are going to annoy a few. Can we just have grey as opposed to 'boxcar', etc.? What about the colour-blind people who need a bit of guidance? Grumble over with.

Simple but superb

My wife bought me one for Xmas and I thought it was nice, but when I packed it for a 3 month bike trip we were doing to Europe this spring/summer, I had no idea how much use I would get out of it. how nice it felt to be wearing it and how well it maintained its fit. I wore it under light shirts for warthm, as well as in 40C heat in Athens at the end of our trip. It is super-breathable, easy to hand wash and has less-is-more classy looks. I just bought 2 more.

Great shirt but sizing can be inconsistent

The fabric is amazing for high output activity. I have 4 of these (from 2021, 2023, and 2025) that I use for running and hiking and gymming. My only complaint is that sizing can be inconsistent. I have a 2023 Cormac SS in Pytheas Heather that fits a lot tighter under the armpit. Not sure if it was just that iteration because I have another Cormac that was produced two months apart in 2023 in Arctic Silk color (also in Medium) that fits comfortably.

Great if you like a loose fit

Echoing what a lot of the reviews have said, expect that the size L is going to fit on the bigger side (especially compared with the size L in the Norvan SS shirt which fits small). I prefer a baggy fit and longer sleeves for trail running, so the L was perfect. Fabric is comfy, providing a good combination of warmth and breathability. The only downside is that they seem to retain odours more than other fabrics, even after washing.
