The jacket in general looks good and nice, however mine came with manufacturing defect.

Great upgrade from my 15 year old jacket

So many nice features on this jacket. My old jacket was nearly 15 years old and was wearing thin. This new one (unsurprisingly) has been amazing. Went out this past weekend with 15-20 mph gusts and this blocked all of it. Built in chap stick holder is a great little feature. Pockets are great and very usable for storing all the things for me (and my kids). I've paired this jacked with a base layer, t-shirt, and wool jacket and have been fine in 15F-20F windy weather. The only downside (which might not be unique to this jacket) is that with the hood over my helmet it does restrict rotating my head a small amount. Not enough to be an issue, but it's noticeable when you take the hood off after a few runs. I would buy this jacket again.

This jacket is definitely 5

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket is definitely 5 star. Opening today up here in Fairbanks Alaska, 2' of powder with Temps at 10°f. I was warm , dry , and comfortable. The blue popped with the rest of my gear. thank you 686 for making another wonderful jacket!

I like this jacket

This jacket is an excellent price! If you aren’t someone who wants 5 different jackets for every minor temperature change this is for you. The shell fabric is durable, it’s warm enough for plenty of conditions, and with the pit zips you can wear this in most early spring conditions too. I’m from VT and rode at Jay, this would be good there, now I ride Mammoth, also good for here. Very versatile. All the pockets needed, powder skirt, and you can cinch the bottom drawstring. The sleeves are on the long side (XL) but when you Velcro them up they are good for someone 6’1 and give you lots of mobility. Fits like a snowboard jacket should.

First jacket in years.

The perfect balance between lightweight and warmth. My first time out was skiing in 20 degree temperatures and was completely comfortable and warm. The vents in the armpits worked great. Just enough pockets and the hood tightened behind the head so as not pull over my face and plenty of room to pull over my helmet as well. This jacket replaced my Marrment of 20plus years so a lot to compete against and it did well.

Great first impression

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m 6’3”, 195lbs, athletic build, and bought these in a size Large. Materials feel premium and comfortable out of the box. No issues with the zipper. Have not tested them snowboarding yet but the jacket is warm without being too heavy. The sleeves are a bit long but the wrist guards keep them from going over your hand. The chest area provides enough space for layering without being too roomy. I wish there was an internal zip pocket, but aside from that it’s pretty much perfect. If you’re in between sizes, going for the smaller size will make the jacket fit more snug, while going for the larger size will give you a more relaxed fit.

Great waterproof jacket!

Just bought this jacket and love it. I went skiing this past weekend on a pretty warm day, 40-50 degrees. Just a t shirt and the jacket kept me perfectly comfortable, so it’s not too warm on its own. And I fell in the slushy snow many times and it kept me dry all day! Seems to run pretty big, I’m 6’2” 230lbs and it has long sleeves and lots of room for layering. That’s what I was looking for so no complaints from me. Definitely happy with my purchase.

You won’t be disappointed

This is the second time I’ve purchased this jacket. 1st one lasted 6+ seasons with 60 or more days per year of abuse. Very comfortable, extremely warm when needed yet easy to vent on warmer days. 4 fellow riders have purchased when they notice how well it works and survived all the seasons i’ve used it. Between 3 friends and over 400 days of use. I recommend giving the jacket a try.

Awesome snowboarding jacket!

Bought this jacket for my brother because I have the female version and love it. We spent the weekend on the mountain and it kept him warm and dry. The vents helped keep him cool and he loved all the pockets. The jacket is stylish and it’s great quality. It’s long and roomy but not too baggy. Fits true to size and very nice! Worth the money. Shipping was fast too.

If I were you, I'd go buy one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used other brand jackets for decades. I trusted them. Now 686 is one of those brands. I just got to use my new Thermagraph jacket on a powdery day in southern Colorado. It checked all my boxes for a great jacket. :ballot_box_with_check:️ Great fit for my larger frame :ballot_box_with_check:️ Just the right amount of pockets :ballot_box_with_check:️ Jacket to pants integration (works with my non-686 pants) :ballot_box_with_check:️ Great balance of warmth with enough room to layer. :ballot_box_with_check:️ Perfect water and windproofing :ballot_box_with_check:️ Great price point for features to cost ratio. I really don't have anything negative to say. So if I were you, I'd go buy one!
